If you want to see the MC die, play Legendary. If you want to see MC finish the fight, play Halo 3. If you want to see MC finish the fight by dieing, why did you waste six years when you could have done it yourself right now?

Allow me to vent my rage!

Unlike those noobs in the H3 forum, I have more then a month of tolerance before I've posted this. I've tried all different browsers and clearing my history.

This website is just flat-out slow or doesn't work at all, goddam it! It's pissing me off. It all started around the time of the hype machine around a couple weeks before release day. The situation is always different. Sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes refresh helps, but for the most part, it doesn't. Sometimes the New Topic tab doesn't work at all. Only after I enter a thread does it do anything. In fact, I had to do that to make this. And oo, my favorite. When I go to click submit to reply or create a thread, it glitches out and my 5000 character masterpiece is lost for no reason what so ever. I'm trying to get in the habit of copying my work, but there's always those times when I forget.

I just find it funny how people are so angry about the smallest things while I have to go through hell to read their crap. I want to because out of that pile of garbage, there's either amusement or intelligence, but it's frustrating! Am I the only one having this trouble?

right....

No idea what your talking about. I don't have any issues with the site loading.

Maybe it's your browser. Which one are you using?

As I said, all of them. IE, Mozilla, Earthlink (or whatever)

Then you're no better then they are for bothering to reply in the first place. Think about it. From my perspective, you made your post for the sole purpose of pissing me off.

IE7 or better is what you want or FireFox 2.0 or higher. The rest are just crap.

Have you cleared your cache, it could just be that your browser had an error in caching the site

Lol, I know I shouldn't expect you to study my post word for word or anything, but that's another thing I've already said I've done. Trust me, I've already gone through the ropes. I've been putting up with this for more then a month.

What are the specs on your computer? When I try to visit bungie.net and make posts using my laptop, the text lags and the site generally runs slower. That computer is a Pentium 3 with 512MB of RAM. The site runs fine on my desktop, which has a much newer processor and over four times the RAM. If your computer is older, it may be the fault of your computer.

There are multiple things that could be causing you to have problems with this website

A. Spyware-Make sure to check every once in awhile, or they will clog your entire computer down.
B. Internet connection-There could be something messing with your connection. Are you running wired or wireless?
C. Other Programs-You may be running other programs that are trying to hog processing power.

Could you elaborate a bit more on your computer setup?
May help us a bit with understanding whats creating the slowdown.

My computer is a "UGH" Compaq. I'm not too sure bout the specifics but I got 109 GB's of free space.

I've always had trouble with my connection. I get a free package deal on Comcast stuff because of advertising (nvm), but all their stuff breaks down, resets for no reason, or just "goes on strike" for a couple days. It'd be too easy to just blame it on my Comcast, but it seems like the most logical cause.

Over at HFCS we're constantly hard...

Wait...
What?

All the problems are on your end because the other 95% of the sites population see the site just fine.

PS Having gigabytes of free space on your hard drive would not make a P.O.S. Compaq (or any other computer) run faster. RAM and CPU's are the only solution to creating the most awsomest (or even semi-awsomest) computer.

Since it may be your connection, go test it out Here
Just select the recommended location (shows up as a yellow pyramid) and watch as your connection is tested.

Im having the same problems here at work. The computer is a pentium 4 on 3 something ghz, it is using IE 6 though. Cant blame the bandwidth since i got atleast a good 50 mbps both up and down. There werent any problems up until the first of the more recent hawtnesses. Its a little better at home but im encountering problems there too, that computer is using IE 7. Generally its not bothering me much but being frequently stuck on "loading page, one object remaining" is starting to get old.

I've noticed this too... it's more than less likely due to the high amount of user activity generated on this website...
