Dear Bungie.net Mods,
I have come onto bungie.net and participated in some very intersting forum discussions. The only problem is that, after a day or two they are lost in the thousands of threads that have been posted. Some very interesting ones (i.e. the original Skull Tread) have disappeared completely. I know that it is possible that they could have been permanently swept off, but it still is an issue. I was hoping that it would be possible for there to be a forum search regarding this issue. Just have it so we can search by username, thread name, or by date. I do not know how much work this would require, but I am sure it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for a great site,
MilesCPO

PS: If this is in the wrong forum please move it, dont delete it!

I am quite sure that the search feature is in the works, Achronos and Sketch are working on it.

As for now, there is no search feature, and you are going to have to look for your threads by going back through the pages. It sucks, I know.

Check out what sketch said in the forum FAQ:
What about a search function?
We are actively reviewing and discussing a number of options to improve and enhance our forums. You should expect the site continue to grow and evolve in the weeks and months ahead. As always, we value your opinions and feedback and hope that you continue to share your ideas in the Septagon forum.

One suggestion that I have heard is to maintain a list of bookmarks for the threads you are interested in.

A search function would be greatly appreciated, especially how damn fast some of the posting goes...shuffling like 20 pages to get to a topic you responded just the night before is a bit crazy.

Bookmarking works, but its a pain sometimes when you didn't and you want to point someone to a particular thread.

Ach! Was ist los?

I agree that a search function would be nice, but I can live without if it's too much trouble to implement.

By the way, topics like this generally belong in The Septagon.

--Sgt. Smith has thus far been forced to bookmark threads of interest.
