Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

Clear the cache. You do some fancy button combo in the dashboard after pressing y (brings you to another menu) And I believe the combo is x -x -left trigger -right trigger -x -x. Hope that helps.

I feel your pain - I had this issue too. I would eject and close the tray until it recognized the disk. I sold mine to a friend and bought a new core system. He still uses it but has to eject and close the tray a lot. You can always call MS and have it repaired but you'll be without a 360 for a while.

From Team Xbox:
Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

Performing this function will also clear any software updates.

I had it with multiple games but Oblivion would take forever to get it to recognize. I got a new 360, used the same disks and haven't had the problem.... yet.

If yours only does it on one game then it's possible it could be the game but mine did it on multiple games.

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

That sucks.

You missed the point like Vader missed the banshee, your whole argument is covered in bees.
Stop sending me group invites -blam!-s!

That happened to me when I was playing The Orange Box, but all I had to do was open the tray and close it again.
