This isn't going to be a long post, mainly because the one I put in the halo 3 folder was long and was carried away by a bunch of threads about armor or something. Basically put I have run into a problem while using theater, my twenty or so saved campaign movies all became invalid for no reason, and since I enjoy being able to watch what I saved to my hard drive with no questions asked, this is quite annoying.

Some of my favorite multiplayer videos don't work, ( except the juggernaut one, that started working), but others like my favorite clips, or the one I saved of my friend after I hit his corpse and all but his legs went underground, I called it shallow grave. Point is this is putting a damper in my enjoyment of this game, other than this the game is great campaign is fun and big team battle is still my favorite playlist.

Has this happened to anyone, or any ideas why this would have happened?

This happened to me once, but the next time I turned on my 360, they were back to normal. It may just be a glitch that happens once in a while.

Try rebooting your xbox. If you have them still save them, they may come back after a few restarts.

Personally, I'm not ranting about your post. However, to me, it's not the saved films feature that makes the game entertaining. Sure, they're good to watch every once in a blue moon, and sometimes you can even up your strategy from watching how you play, and for campaign: skull locations (if you haven't gotten them all) or easter egg locations can be found via saved films.

Long story short, the game is what makes me want to play, not the theatre.

And, to answer your question, no, I've no had this happen. I usually don't save films anyways. I did about 4 times, but that was for achievements so everyone could see that I got them legit. Steppin Razor, 2 for 1, Overkill -- well that's it, so 3 times.

I think something like clearing your cache helps, but I, myself, wouldn't attempt it.

Jgolden, I was saying that I enjoy theater but I would more than likely be in big team or meta-game, if watching films was it than what would be the point?

And as for rebooting, I did that and was only able to get some of them working, so yeah it sucks, but most of the campaign missions I would have done again anyways. I just didn't want this to become a reoccurring thing, since I don't want to save them and use up room if they just stop working out of nowhere.

Yeah, my problem might be that I didn't read the whole post. Sorry for that.
