The should be in any book store near you. Barnes & Nobles, Borders, Booksamillion. Just keep an eye out, it will be near video game strategy guides or graphic novels most likely.

Hmm, got the book on Sunday, I would watch Coles, Bungie. Fully stocked shelves of it. It's an amazing book, won't give away any details, but it explains a lot ;). It took a bit but I enjoy Joseph Statens writing, definatly will be on the look out for any more of his books.

So how the heck do you ALREADY HAVE A COPIE ????????

Mm I see that, I went to a local Coles, I was in Vaughn Mills, if you happen to be near the GTA.

-blam!-

This is intense! It was a brilliant idea to write a prequel; so far it feels very different from the other books which is a refreshing and enlightening treat.

Thank you Joseph for the hard work! It definitely shows the folly of humanity's need for self-destruction, the trauma and stress associated with killing another human and the fast paced hair-raising moments of indecision that arise in heated confrontations. Reminds me of Ghost in the shell; that kind of high tech era where it's repercussions are visibly extensive in times of war.

What a hectic fray. Can't wait to read the rest.

Iris=win.
Look for the signs, the keepers of the flame.
They will Lead you to war, and perhaps, to victory.

Arguing on the internet is like participating in the special olympics. You might win, but you're still retarded.

HEY BUNGIE, I WOULD LIKE AN BETA TEST PLOX KTHNX

AWESOME! Joseph Staten is ALL THE BALLS OF BUNGIE!!!

lol. Im gonna buy the book the day it comes out.

Fantastic prologue, great imagery! Can't wait to read the rest of the book.

Hmm. I was almost disgusted by the way Johnson and his men slaughtered captured enemies who were unarmed and surrendered. But he seemed to redeem himself when he was hesitant to snipe that "Innie" who took the little boy hostage, even though she detonated the bomb.

This civil war is like that, it can't be helped. Even President Lincoln suspended habeas corpus during the US civil war. And he didn't hesitate because of the "Innie", he hesitated because of the innocent boy. And it got his team killed, no doubt he'll be plagued by doubt about that event later in the book.

I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

One does not simply grenade jump into Mordor...

I don't want to read it, because I don't want to ruin anything. I already decided to buy this book a long time ago. :)

As an artist myself, I can't thank you enough for all the great descriptions and imagery. I'm already forming shots and compositions in my head!

Congratulations on finishing the book, Joseph! I look forward to reading the rest soon and perhaps painting up some of the scenes, which is always great practice and a great deal of fun. Take care.

Cheers!

DEEP NNN = Depends

Clan 2old2pwn on 2old2play.

Don't let yesterday use up too much of today.

More violent than I expected. Better written than I expected.

I hope such horrible actions do not frequently happen in the real world. There's no doubt that experience from these types of actions are why Avery made it as far as Halo 3. He'd never survive in a peaceful world.

I'm still not sure if I want to read these Halo novels but this prologue has garnered my interest.

"I'd have to say Lockout was the worst"

I'm pretty sure that's heresy, and that it conflicts with the "Code of Manliness" - page 792, section E subsection D paragraph 3.2. I suggest you relay that statement.

You had to leave me hangin...When does the book release? Or has it already?
