You'd think they would have something other than plastic ties to bind the innies hands in the year 2600-something. Just thought that was odd cuz thats what we use today. Apparently coffee is timeless though :-)

The Noble and Heroic DriedMoss, member of Reaching Perfection and the ever-growing kick-ass Halo community.

Congrats Joe on finishing your book. We appreciate the work, I've started reading CH, and I am excited to read direct from one of the main contributers to the Halo Bible. I am sure that the Halo Bible is getting thicker and thicker every time you look at it. Thanks again for a great story.

Now...how about that Cortana!

Its okay, but if a story gets weaker as it goes along... I think I have a bad feeling about this novel...

You always have a bad feeling about something!

Anyways, can anybody answer my question?

Well, I see what you're saying, but then again, with spaceships probably costing a lot more than they do today, the military probably isn't concerned about having fancy cuffs. Coffee will be timeless however, I will second that notion...

I'm already on section two of the book, and it's quite good.
Great work Joseph Staten, I hope to see another book from you.

Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphors have two parts : form and interpretation; of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom being the briocoleus, the mason.

That read great, but I thought the name of one of the ships to be a bit odd.....

"To the perspiring officers in the cramped tactical operations center (TOC) aboard the UNSC corvette Bum Rush in high orbit above Tribute, it did seem like a perfect takedown"

Seriously, no one else thinks its weird that they call it BUM RUSH? WTF!?! So they are saying there is a UNSC corvette orbiting the planet tribute called Bum Rush.... please tell me I am not crazy when I read this!

I'm through the first 40 pages as of last night. Very cool stuff. Avery isn't doing so hot at this point. It'll be interesting to see what gets him out of his slump.

That was a great prologue. The book will be great, cause Ghosts of Onyx was a sorta of a let down in a way. It was cool to know their was another Spartan Program, but the way they ended the book was kinda -blam!-. They need to make a book with all the solar systems of the Halo Universe so us Halo nerds :) have something else to memorize and make a full of ourselves infront of friends. but this book should be good, hopefully

Great job on the prologue. I actually felt as if I was there seeing what Johnson was seeing. I can't wait to read the whole novel. Now that I have finished Halo 3 this book is something I am looking forward to.
