Giver of Hope

Congratulations to ZB Shogun, Skyllus vBi, and any others that were awarded the Recon Armor Permutation. This proves to all the non-believes that think Bungie is unfair. This great act of faith by the Bungie cast proves that they believe in this great community, and if you are patient, and pull off some amazing things, good things could happen. This brings me to the famous Lukems quote, "The trigger isn't something you can control. It's not your finger that pulls it" and "There's a gun with a trigger, but there's nothing your hand can do to fire it. " Bungie is the trigger, and you must appease the Bungie gods.

LONG LIVE BUNGIE!!!

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells

If the mods could ban while getting killed by a flying traffic cone, that'd be totally completely awesome and recon worthy!

Giver of Hope

The reason I made this topic, is to congratulate people who have received it. It is not here for people so say you cannot have it. It is here to recognize the achievements of the ones lucky enough to receive this honor. Thank you for your time.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

That's what Community Projects is hopefully going to change.

Yea just like The Council Chambers and Seventh Column Contests was going to too? Not knocking the idea guys, but know it's been tried, multiple times. Realize the gravity of what you are getting into before you do so. These are all rather large projects, which will take large amounts of time and resources, can you honestly dedicate yourself to such? For how long? I encourage such, but understand what you are getting yourselves into, please.

As for the original topic; I'm sure your congrats are welcome and I, personally, agree. This is a great way for Bungie to award people of the community.

Honestly, I do have enough time and money to put into the idea, though whether that is something to be proud of or not is up to debate.

As far as how long: the community isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and neither am I.

You're criticism isn't unwarranted, though. I think that the other attempts at this had failed because of lack of...financial support. Very few people are willing to dip into their own pockets just for the sake of people they've never met before. There's a very good reason why I had chosen my name, you know.

Finishing the fight since 1988!

The Column Underground: Made of Win

hey, asher isnt matt asher is he? If so we should give him recon just because he puts up with the massive amount of -blam!- thrown at him because people think he's related to bungie somehow. And he managed to put on an ARG at the same time as IRIS and survive.

Giver of Hope

Hello again, I would like to congratulate Lintendo64 on receiving the elusive Recon armor permutation this week, and to anyothers that have received it thus far. Bungie once again shows faith, and continues to give hope.
