Heyyo,
I'll ballpark you a price... now, I know someone in town who said he had to pay $150 a month, but a bud out in the country in the states would have to pay $400/month (due to how far, and such)
So it really depends on your distance eh?
so i'm guessing anywhere from $130-$250 a month. (I don't think you're moving out in the middle of nowhere like that one bud of mine, lol).
So yeah, very expensive dude... you're better off gettin' a high bandwith ADSL setup. Me bud's gotta 2.5Mbit ADSL for around $60/month and he loves it, he gets plenty fine pings, and ADSL is the best for gaming... well, besides T1 and stuff, cable modem's aren't that good...
Why does cable suck compared to adsl at gaming? simple, ADSL has a balanced upload/download speeds, Cable is highly unbalanced, and plus onna cable setup, the more people online on the same line will lower your speeds, sometimes pretty low... since I live inna small town with a 6Mbit connection? i don't have to worry aboot that. NOW, 6Mbit connections freakin' rule I can get better pings than me bud anyday. Why? the Mbits man, even if it's unbalanced, when you get like, 1-2Mbit's upload your internet gaming should be fine. ;)
