My choice for my "halo buddy interview" was one that I figured people would consider interesting. Lots of people told me it was, and they used more specific reasons than "excellent interview". Also, I dont think that I talked about myself, I'll check in a minute, but if I did I'm sure it wasnt nearly on the level of Mike D.

True but Mike made an effort to get the opinion of people with a poll, which you didn't do in a poll. He's trying to get people involved so I don't see how you can criticize him for that. It wasn't on the same level as MIke but it was still there. He's trying to give people information on someon who not a lot of people know about, but there's a comparison to be made with your spotlight where you're rewarding someone for bad behavior by giving them a spotlight. There both different takes on the normal spotlight.

Youre right about the poll, but the thing is, they were given 5 choices, nobody was allowed to nominate anyone in a prior thread, etc. It was like "you can chose from my 5 friends" so you have a choice, but not really. Also, I was using my opinion as part of the question, I didnt just make a statement about myself like mike did numerous times. I would hardly consider my spotlight rewarding, I asked direct questions, and tried to show no bias. It would be different if I wouldve glorified him, but I definatly didnt do that. The reason I chose him, was because he was an interesting subject, and because there are very few people who share his viewpoint. Slayer sees the same things as we all do, from the same vantage point. Pillage doesnt. Thats why I made that choice, because there is more to learn from his perspective than from one that I share with other people, I.E. slayer.

I believe he did make a thread prior to the spotlight voting for people to make nominations, either in PM or in that thread. So, unless he just totally disregarded the results, the majority of the nominations became the five finalists, and then there was the voting on that.

Link or it didn't happen.
Here you go

It actually asked people who wanted to be interviewed to PM him. So it was self-nomination.

So it was self-nomination. I was mistaken. Well, that's a suggestion for next time, Mike. Have people nominate others who they would like to see in a Spotlight, and then take the top five or so with the most nominations. That would really be the only way to make sure it's not about self advertisement.

If I was bringing someone up I wouldve asked a question about them. giving a quick fact on history adds information on the term, and the origin of the group.

Saying it was coined by mob death ps doesn't give any information on the term.

It also falls under the category of talking about yourself so it seems egotistical.

And here is where you lost me. Are you trying to throw an accusation without proof? I've already told everyone what my old account was, gangstuh felon, but I think we are back to the troll card which I discussed earlier. So have at it, please throw an accusation with no proof, no evidence, etc. :)

Huh? I'm not accusing you of anything except for being egotistical.

What proof do I need? I don't want you to be banned, and I don't run to the mods like Death V2 does :)

So giving proof would be quite counter productive.

Seriously what proof can I have? pillage telling in passing that you're mob, mr_mousetrap saying that your mob death lol. What is that going to do? It doesn't prove anything.

I didn't say you were egotistical, I said that it seemed that you were since you brought yourself up in a positive manner in the interview.

Whatever That's what I believe if I'm wrong so be it, let's get off the subject.

Everyone knows I'm an immoral bastard, In fact, I think I might have stated it myself, explicitly, numerous times. If not, here you go again; I have no morals or ethics.

You know better than that, Logical. Don't try and call me out to defend myself, I'm running on borderline Kamikaze motivation here.

I would never eat a pet, as in an animal.
Now, if it was a pet cake or pie, then Hell YEAH! I'd eat that -blam!- man!
