um, maybe something along these lines.
I dunno exactly which reason why (what was your topic name?), but the list is below
The Bungie Web Sites and the services provided therein are not to be used to transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable content, as determined by any Bungie Web Sites employee, designee or admin. This includes material which a user may find embarrassing or which may cause distress, unwanted attention or discomfort to them. It also includes vulgar and abusive language, even when masked by symbolic characters, and includes login names, screen names and club names

Which part of the CoC did it violate? Being vague is not very helpful.

It could have been any number of violations, but it was deleted and for a reason and theres not much you can do about it.

Forum ninjas no longer have the power to delete threads or posts, however i am unsure whether master moderators do or not. The delete function is/was very rarely used anyway so it is more likely that it was merely a glitch. Are you sure it was posted? Chances are, if your thread was actually deleted, you'd probably be blacklisted, banned or at the very least warned.

Hmm, thats very odd then if thats true.
Either it was a glitch, or someone higher up in the chain of command did it 0.o

Try to look through your posts and see if you can find it. Also try searching the title of the thread in the search.

This is a signature.

In it's current position, it serves almost no good, and, therefore, there is no reason to put anything important into it.

I'm certifiable.

Master moderators do have the ability to delete threads, but we're asked to use it sparingly.

Does it matter? I thought those kind of threads were for attention whores or people just wanting to get their name out there.

I'm not trolling; I'm just expressing my honest opinion because that's what you said about a previous Community Spotlight thread. I read your thread and I stopped when it mentioned throwing a dead animal out a window or something. That just seems like a cry for attention.

The Slayer is (at least) somewhat known. He doesn't need anyone to throw his name around. Mike's interview wasn't the best, but you don't need to mention throwing dead animals at people, either. ;)

Is that one of the things you'd edit out?

Can moderators delete threads, because the one I just posted went mysteriously missing.
Forum Ninjas no longer have the permission of deleting posts or threads in the Bungie.net public forums because of an incident that occurred on July 8, 2007. However, Master Forum Ninjas, administrators, or full control users with yellow text may do anything they please and desire on Bungie.net at any time. Thus their motto remains, "You have no rights. Play Nice."

Most likely, your thread or post was "submitted" but never actually appeared on the forums because of a bug. If you saw your post along with other posts and you cannot find it, I would suggest going here to search for it.

You may always submit the thread again, but in case it is a bug you should copy (c+ctrl) your text so you don't lose it. If your thread was deleted by an administrator or Bungie representative you would most likely receive a warning, suspension, or permanent ban from the forums. The delete feature itself is rarely used and even those with the permission to do so are encouraged to edit one's post if necessary.

While that'd normally be helpful, he already said that Nos talked to him (read up a bit).

Also, I believe there was a poll last week that decided who Mike's community spotlight would be about, it wasn't random selection.
