As many of you know, recently Bungie challenged a small group known as the Frag Dolls in one of their weekly Humpday Challenges. Bungie, of course, won.

This isn't a complaint about the Frag Dolls themselves, as I'm sure they're all lovely girls and probably pretty good at video games.

But this bothered me...

Today, UbiSoft launched their official Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory website, and smack dab in the middle is a large picture link directly to the Frag Dolls website. What the -blam!-, says I. There are thousands of more notable, worthy, deserving clans, but they choose this one to advertise and acknowledge because it's an all-female group, which I suppose they think is some sort of crazy anomaly (but it is not. Morgan Webb! ah!)

Anyway. I lodged a complaint in the form of a forum post over on the Splinter Cell site.

If you're with me... reply to it! Otherwise, flame this post if you so desire.

Here's the link.

heh. a bit petty, maybe. and people on that site are now regarding it as spam. But seriously. How many of you guys wouldn't love to have your clan freely advertised on the front of Bungie.net or something?

no actually i wouldn't, id like to keep with a small group of elite halo players who know how to play as a team, not go out and play a bunch of games that ur just gonna loose

besides, we have the classifieds for advertising

also, they're not on their just because they are an all girl halo group, theyre on their because they played bungie on the halo humpday challenge, and other places might i add

I'm pretty sure that one of the Frag dolls works at Ubisoft. Check their site if you want to be sure.

One of the Frag Dolls works at UbiSoft.

-S

The clan itself is pretty much sponsored by UbiSoft.

And before you go off touting "Of course Bungie won," look at the scores. Those were some damn close games.

Whether they're a product of the media or not, they're not bad gamers, and more importantly, they have fun at it. You should focus on that more than complaining about who gets spotlight.

above post is correct. Frag Dolls are sponsored by Ubisoft. Make sure you research stuff before you start making assumptions.
