Besides the color, what is the difference between a Brute's plasma Rifle than the Elite's? Which would you prefer?

the Brute Plasma Rifle shoots a lot faster, therefore it overheats faster. It also seems to do a bit more damage, but I'm not sure.

I've personally found the brute plasma rifle to overheat much faster. Only difference I've definitly noticed. I'd perfer the normal plasma rifle because it takes so much longer for it to overheat.

Yea, you can but the only way i have found out how to is by setting up random weapons, and it shows up every once in a while.

Depends on the situation. If I don't plan on living long(which I probably don't because it'd be a Fiesta game), I'll use a Brute Plasma Rifle. In any other situation, I'll take a regular PR.

That's just it. It'll kill fast, but then you have some down time. If you're fighting multiple people and you overheat, you're dead.

Edit: I have an idea. Anyone want to try this for me? Dual-wield Brute Plasma Rifles, and only fire one at a time. When that one overheats, switch to the other and vice versa. I'm just wondering if it can be effective to have a steady stream like that.

I prefer the BPR anyday because the BPR may overheat quicker but u can just switch weapons and straight away switch back 2 the BPR.

PS.The BPR is way more powerful than the normal one.

Well, technically, it would still be better to fire both at the same time, and kill your opponents as quickly as possible. You have an equal amount of shots, and you want to get them off as fast as possible. By shooting one at a time, you're simply wasting precious time. And anyone smart would dual wield one of the pistols with a plasma rifle.

But Stickman, the point is that you keep dealing damage. If you were fighting someone with an Overshield or multiple opponents, you wouldn't want to stop dishing out damage.

You can also set the frist or secondary weapon to a brute plasma rifle.

I prefer the Brutes one. It shots much faster. But of course that means it overheats faster too. Or you can have one of each dualwielded. That's usually nice.
