Stop the debate madness! Play Halo!

Ok, I'm probably going to get flamed big time for this, but I am getting pretty sick of the language that's going around Halo 2. It seems like the first thing I hear when I join a team game anymore is "f*** this" and "f*** that" C'mon people, there are other words to use! Just because the game is rated mature doesn't mean you have to treat it like an R rated movie. Don't get me wrong, I have my damns and hells, and even an occasional bastard, but it's absurd that some players think that other people don't get offended by an excess use of this. I always ask politely a tthe beginning of the game if they would refrain from using the language, and I usually get flamed then too. Have we really come that far as to not show a little common courtesy? Personally, I would rather take a dive in rating and leave the game than have to put up with players that can't control their mouth. I know, I know I can always turn the sound off or down, but where's the fun in that? I think we could all do with cleaning things up a little. While I'm on the subject...you people that play your music over the headset all game long have got to go. Some of us actually use the headset for communicating with teammates.

I agree, as well.

I hate it when people say the F-bomb every other word. In no way does it make someone look cool or macho. Instead, it makes them look like a moron who can't think of anything better to say. I don't mind the occasional Damn, Hell, Ass, etc., as long as they're used sparingly.

Cuss words are like the "sugars" group. They're supposed to be used sparingly, but instead are consumed the most.

If some one is being an ass, you can always mute them. Another way to deal with them is to send bad feedback. Hope that helps.

Society, and the people that fill it, will show their worst sides in anonymity.

Join a clan with people that you like, most of the regular members at B.net don't curse as an adjective on Live, join up with them, and play some custom games.
