It would probably be sold like what is going on with HALO PC, or downloaded from XBOX LIVE.

It's as simple as this. Bungie made Halo beyond great. The balance Bungie puts into its games is amazing. They have a division within the development of Halo 2 dedicated entirely into developing MP maps ! ! ! If Bungie can't make great maps for Halo 2, I don't even want to attempt it.

here's an idea I thought about tell me what you think. Bungie releases a map editor for Halo 2 on the PC then the fans do the designing then they submit them to bungie and they select the best designed maps and let users download them over Xbox Live imagine ppl playing YOUR level how cool is that?

that's a really cool idea...they should do that, they should release a map editor for download, and then people would submit their levels.....and then afterwards they would probably not let anyone use the map editor

heres what i think: they will feature downloadable content. but if they added a map editor (and trust me it can be done in this kind of game) it would just be sweet, games would get passed on when ppl go into the server, and you could have weekly contests to see whos map will end up as a official bungie map (so that every one downloads it in a patch).

it could be build like this:

a cursur controled by your left thumbstick (its actualy not to bad if you have tryed playing the N64 C&C or starcraft.)

to your right of the screen is a menu (just like in a C&C game or any other stratigy game) where you can scrole up and down through diferent catigorys: rocks, foliage, tarrane and weather/sky as one. buildings and tunles, flags, spawnpoints, weapons and vehicles as the others.

then there would be a small stats bar at the top displaying: rocks, trees, flags, buildings, tunles, vehicles, weapons, sky/weather and climate.

these would only take up small areas on the edges of the screen the rest would be a view rotatable and raseable with the right thumbstick and you can rotate the paraphinalea with the Dpad.

A would place and B would deleate, Y would cycle through the stuff forward and X backwords.
