Threre are certain essentials that a clan needs in order to successful and competitve such as leadership, teamwork, and practice, amongst many others. The focus of this thread is practice. Practice is a must for any serious clan wishing to be at there competitve best and reach there full potential. However, random, unorganized practice is limited in its capabilities. To achieve optimal results, one must Practice with a Purpose. I have devised a complete practice regimen which develops skills and strategies in ALL aspects of clan play. This regimen is divided into four main categories, each containing its own sub-categories. They are as follows
1) Maps - This category focuses on skills and strategies pertaining to each individual map.
They include memorization of weapon locations, gametype information and strategies( oddball, king of the hill, etc.), map weapon strategy(focuses on the most effective weapons for the map/gametype), and basic map layout strategies to name a few.
2) Weapons Training - This category focuses on training in individual weapon categories(pistols, rifles, high expolsives, grenades, etc.), weapons combinations and dual weapon combinations amongst others.
3) Vehicle Training - This category is the smallest in terms of basic training, but is amongst the most difficult to master.Categories such as vehicle tecniques and maneuvers(hijacking, splatter techniques, vehicle handling, etc.), and vehicle weapons.
4) Combat/Situational Strategies - This category is the most difficult to define because it is very open-ended. Combat strategies focus on a variety of pre-determined strategies conquering a specific gametype, map, clan, or individual opponent. Of course minor adjustments are necessary throughout the course of a game, but the basic concepts remains intact. Situational strategies are also pre-determined, but only take affect when something needs to be done in order to change the flow of a match(whether it be engaging in a offensive onslaught or defending the base, etc.). These topics are open to an almost endless amount of interpretation, but the basis of this category is that one should never go into battle without a gameplan with a number of alternatives to combat your opponents style or strategies.
