I just wanted to say that this is one of the best posts that I’ve read. All clans should follow these suggestions. 1)Maps, 2)Weapon Training, and 3) Vehicle Training are pretty straight forward. But 4) Strategy is very difficult. Plainly, some people don’t really understand what a strategy is.

As the overlord of a clan, I must admit it’s hard to be as organized as you suggest. My group, Evil Inc, is made up of a bunch of good guys with various skill levels. There are a few of us that think practice is very important and understand strategies. I set up a weekly practice night where we get together and work on things. We did this once a week for over a month.

Here’s the frustrating part. A group of the high ranked players in the clan decided that practice wasn’t important anymore. There was a little dissention in the group. I tried, over and over, to explain even the best players need to practice. Also strategies are something that require thinking and not just twitch abilities. I personally feel that a group that understands strategies, and even more be lower rank, can give higher ranked players that are just winging it, are run for their money. Sadly not many people seem to see it my way. If anyone agrees or disagrees, I’d like to hear their thoughts. That being said a group of my high ranked players jumped ship and started their own clan. We’re all still friends but I find it frustrating.

I’d like to have a group that is balanced – has good individual abilities, understand strategies and wants to work on them. Anyone has similar thoughts or experiences with their clans?

People without practice tend to fall apart. Ususally, strategies are improvised and dictated and that's why certain plans don't work. I really like this post. I think it's actually useful.

Hey there i have a suggestion i would ask your clan leader if he would be willing to let others play. If he is worried about thier abilities then put them through some test to see if they are worthy. If after you try and convince him he still feels as strongly as he does then i would say you may have to go to another clan. If you are serious about being in a clan. I am in a clan with a couple friends and it is nothing serious so i am looking to other clans to improve my game and enjoyment.

Nerd.
A Clan [to me] is a bunch of your stoner friends grouped together. They always laugh at your jokes; never descriminating against you...
And then you get to feel like you're a socially self-suffient individual.

yea this is great and all but the funny thing is no matter how good youre' strategy is, when you see me you are going to die, so i don't care if u can do a double backflip into the base, their will be someone waiting for you, i wanna play you and show you strategy ain't all, my clan only has 4 people in it so far, but we are good, and have strategy's also, i'm not trying to be a jackass or anything, but i wanna play youre' clan so we CAN hand it to you.

Good job with that list OG BobbyJonson. That is a rather thorough list there and sadly, most new clans tend to ignore all those factors. Most clans I see have no communication wahtsoever. They go into a game together and play the match on their own. There is practically no planning whatsoever and as I just mentioned, no communication.

Thanks for the list. Hopefully people creating new clans and people who are "in clans" that don't cooperate will read this list.

Yea. I definately agree. Actually, i'm starting up a very serious if you would like to visit my site. It's in my signature. Thanks
