This really annoys me. I live out in the middle of nowhere and we have a satellite internet connection. So why can't I get Live? It is just as fast as DSL! I went over to my friends house he has DSL and if anything our connection is faster. The weather is the ony problem, if a cloud goes over us then we can't go online, but why not pity me! I am tired of whooping up on my little sister!

Please help, or at least answer why I cannot have Live.

How on earth do you spell satellite, oh there!

With satellite the download speed is great but it is your upload speed that kills you. Satellite upload speeds typically range between 40kpbs and 60 kpbs which is as slow as dial-up. XBL depends highly on upload speeds to provide a solid lag free experience.

Beacause the speeds are never consistent.

That explains why I lag on Halo PC. Got it. No more Halo on the 'puter just ruins other peoples fun.

Thanks guys!
