My xbox hard drive just crashed. It will cost me $80 for repairs, $20 for a one year warranty, and shipping from Massachusetts to Redmond (plus an eight business day wait). Instead, I am going to buy a new one from Best Buy for $150 plus tax and pay $20 for a TWO year warranty.
I think it might be because about five times when I got up from the couch static electricity would go from my hand to the controller? or maybe the generic S-video and audio cable?
Or does Microsoft suck?
I have owned Atari 2600, two NES's, SNES, two Sega Genesis's, Sega Genesis Nomad, two GBA's, PS2, two Gamecubes, and this is the first system to break on me.
I love my Xbox, but I'm PIST!
