Yeah, maybe they'll find a way to let us play as the Covenant, who knows..
I don't think they necessarily have to add more enemies, per say, just to make the game more enjoyable with a four player campaign. If I'm playing anything competitively, such as a basketball game, video game, chess match, I don't go adding more players to the other team to make the game harder, I just find better competition. Or in this case, smarter AI. I also wouldn't be suprised if they could squeeze in a few more characters on screen at once with the new engine, or maybe they'll find other ways to take advantage of the new & improved engine.

In Halo 2, we're trying to take the combat from Halo 1 and put it into more interesting contexts. So, instead of just getting from point 'a' to point 'b', you'll be fighting the Covenant off of the space station that they're trying to capture.
We're also working on the scale. In Halo 1 we had a lot of grassy hills or small cliffs, where as in Halo 2 we're having entire space stations that are giant weapons that you can aim and fire.We're having big levels that take place in the wreckage of the previous Halos.. Trying to increase that epic nature.
That doesn't sound like Halo to me. It sounds more like Halo's ass kicking.
