I think bungie should create a forum where players, who get cheated, can post videos and clips providing evidence of the cheat that occured. With bungies awesome file share and theatre feature, why not use it for some good? I am sure I am not alone on this when legit players get cheated by some noobs boosting their rank, and for what.... lets expose these cheaters and get them off the network. Please vote we need every1's support on this issue. Thanks.

I just have to ask what for? There is a good feedback system in the dashboard. I just file a complaint and move on. I have yet to play anyone that I have set to avoid. Setting up a forum for it just seems like a waste of space to me.

If that cheating e-mail is still up, that would serve the purpose better. I hope they bring that back soon if it isn't already.

The feedback system works wonders. Use it.

My understanding is that it was taken offline for good because the in dashboard feedback system works better and faster than the email did.

Bungie is not responsible for probably 90% of Xbox live bannings when it comes to H3, Microsoft is. Maybe illegal boosting and things like that are reviewed by Bungie, but all the other stuff is done through the Xbox live feedback system.

Therefore, having a forum here dedicated to people screaming "HEY BUNGIE, IS THIS STANDBY!?" is neither a direct nor dependable way of handling cheaters IMO.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

As Achronos and others have noted many times, videos and screenshots are not a reliable way of proving cheating. The film system shows only the data that was relayed to your XBox 360 rather than what actually happened in the game. In other words, if you were the client and you simply had a bad connection to the host, it may appear that players are speeding around the map, assassinating you from the front, sniping you through walls, and other actions that you might think are cheating, when in reality all that happened was that the action on the host XBox 360 (which resolves disputes between the various clients) did not match the action on your own XBox.

Unfortunately, I fear that a forum filled with these kinds of videos and screenshots would only result in complaints when the player who supposedly "cheated" was not banned. Moreover, it would, almost inherently, be filled with flaming and baseless accusations by players who do not understand the basic concepts of host-and-client networking and the saved films feature.

I understand your frustration when players who you think are "cheating" are not banned, but I urge you to keep in mind how the networking and saved films systems work. Then realize that the vast, vast, vast majority (if not all) of the instances that players think constitute "cheating" are actually discrepancies in the networking that are simply a fact of the internet (that nobody can do anything about.... yet).

For this reason, I disagree with this idea.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

Against, fairly strongly. Due to many of the reasons listed above, it would be pointless, and would only serve as a place for fighting and such.
