Long enough to consider joining the army that has created some of the best entertainment in software, personnel, quirky behavior as well as having plans to take over the world and send their opposition careening into the Sun via giant slingshot.

Bungie truly is an organization of organizations; amazing folks, they are. Brilliant and hilarious.

The thread creator is on to something though.

The question is, how long have we been insane?

Did you mean to use in-laws and relative in the same post?

I see what you mean. It is refreshing.

In-laws are great fun to irritate. Add them to the list of people to send into the Sun, come judgment day!

Wouldn't that require some sort of crazy trans-dimensional portal generator cannon projector or shower curtain?

Don't forget the moist, delicious cake.

The cake is a lie.

Honestly, I was going to have some post about how I hate that and how it's overused, but then I figured I didn't want to talk about cake, since I'm having too much of that tomorrow. (You know that birthday stuff? Ugh.) Then you had to go mention cake.

You know, I'm going to have some serious issues tomorrow facing the cake that is, in fact, truth. Don't even start throwing portals into the equation.

Have faith, friend, you will overcome the tooth-rotting goodness that is cake.

A slight bit off topic methinks, as are the last oh, 5 or 6 posts about cake.

In the fashion of topiclessness however, I must disagree with you. BioWare must be included on that list as well, and there are a few others that would come to mind. There ARE genres other than FPS.

This I know. Bethesda, Monolith, and Blizzard are some of my other favorites.

There was a database problem where the site's database's CPU and disk I/O max out. For an 8 processor machine with a heavy duty RAID disk array, that's pretty impressive, if annoying. Turns out it probably was a weird memory allocation issue.

Hopefully, the configuration change we made should prevent it from happening again.

He has an excuse. He was drunk at the time! Then again, he's always drunk... it's still an excuse.
