The good stuff? I didn't know mods were allowed to prompt people to buy drugs...or alcohol.

P.S. I am just kidding by the way...there is no need to be angry.

Pizza, soda, chips, dip, and a time where everyone stops playing and takes a break...to eat. Oh and comfy couches.

Tons of pizza. Tons of caffine. And try to hook up the best entertainment system possible. If you got speakers hook them up in as many rooms possible.(if it is a multiroom party) Get some good TV's together. Ask the people you invite the biggest TV they have if they would bring it.

Yeah, I think the pizza is a must. Has anyone tried the double-melt from Dominos?

Cheetos. Lots and lots of cheetos.

Of course, then you have disgusting dirty paddles. Either make everyone wash their hands or get some cleaner food.

Whilst playing games, have hard core rock music playing in the backgroup in the backgroud. Tell everybody that their outfits are "rockin".... Tell people to "rock it" when playing video games....Don't let anybody sit in your rocking chair... Maybe throw some rocks around at people...

Unfortunately, I'm no where near 21. I'm in fact 8 years away from 21. Oh well.

I actually have had a sip of beer before. Couldn't stand the stuff, in my opinion it's too strong. Me dad says it's an "aquired taste."

lock the doors and only let the pizza guy in. Yesterday I had a LAN party at school for the last day of school for 2004 We had to move 3 Tv's and a projector, 4 xbox's and all the controllers twice.

(I live in Aus......Todays the first day of the 6 week holidays. I can now live at B.net)

Another thing you should do is tell your parents to take a trip. LANs get loud, and there should be a lot of cussing (from pissing off all your friends when you kill them =).

Lots of beer and sigarets I would say. And some more beer. And sigarets.

Make sure the people you are inviting don't hate each other...it's all fun and games but lan games can get pretty intense.

Yeah, food is a must...And don't forget to have the right cables...Forgetting this has doomed a great many LAN games.

If you are playing Halo, set aside some time for just plain messing around as opposed to serious gametypes...like having vehicle surfing contests and whatnot. A personal favorite of mine is oddball where everyone has AC, slight toughness, and all rockets (ball carrier has normal speed). If it's Halo 1, you can switch out rockets for sniper weapons and laugh at how you can fool people by just standing still and ducking in a corner. The last variant doesn't work so good since AC soo easy to spot in H2.

Don't do cheetos, it gets controllers screwed. Make sure you have all the equipment and double check. I had two dudes arguing the whole time because they miscommunicated. Make sure it works too. Get enough food to serve God's army.

I don't even get 2 weeks!

But, another thing I'd recommend--

Get the biggest hub you possibly can, and as many TVs and Xboxes as you can. Little TVs=more room. In Halo 2, you can have up to 16 Xboxes on LAN (but you still have a 16-player limit), and the nifty little Xbox Live headset works on LAN, too. Last game I did we had 6 Xboxes and 2 guys who had headsets. And we still had 8 spots on our hub open!

Pizza is a must--so is a good sugary/ultra-caffienated beverage. If you're willing to splurge a lot, get a few crates of BAWLS.
