I love me some Zag, but he's too wholesome. We need someone more deviant and twisted if we want to tap into the money demographic, males age 18-35.

You forgot the part where I'm under-aged as well.

Just, you know, something to keep in mind.

How about you pick a community member to interview. No votes, no polls just who you think stands out as somebody the community spotlight should shine on and recognize.

Well that basically what Im doing I'm just getting suggestions from the community to see what they come up with.

I nominate Blue Jaguar.

Halo3Planet, the place for all things Halo 3..

Need help finding skulls, make sure to go here.

I'd have to say Shishka, or Foman for his contribution and time during IRIS.

The guy came on to the b.net scene from basically out of nowhere and hit the ground running. He's done some great things and is well worthy of a spotlight. Good Work with the guide by the way. Maybe with all this community fervor of late you can get it a bit more active again. Hell maybe I'll come back to my wayward creation and help too. Who knows.

I would like to thank roman arrow12 for this great idea.
Instead of me picking five people and you voting for your favorite I want you to nominate people here and now.
It could be anyone Frankie, The Don Wan. As a matter O' fact i would really enjoy Interviewing Public Enemy to see what kind of responses I get.
In my opinion, the community spotlight should be an interview of a member that has done something out of the ordinary and deserves to be recognized in that particular week. Having people vote and nominate others doesn't necessarily make it as important because everyone knows who will be interviewed. Instead, if you see a member that does something to catch your eye, send them a private message and interview that individual. Therefore when it is posted in the Bungie.net Community forum, it would be a surprise and make the community spotlight more meaningful.

I choose the big Shish. It'd be interesting to see how he's doing now after escaping Bungie studios and going into the game design witness protection program.

Hahahahaha thats a great idea.
Shish it is then.
OMG this is going to be crazy.

Wow... what a bump.

I nominate Shishka as well, as the interviewee and as a moderator. Seriously we need Shishka to moderate again, he was the only moderator that didn't protect his little friends from blacklist like most of moderators nowadays.

Ironically enough, “one man, one vote” sounds communist.

Also:

Foman!

Whether you agree with him or not, he seems to carry a certain air of persuasiveness about him. Also, he's a good guy.

I would only vote for Foman if he kept his answers to under 2,000 characters.

Mike: "So tell me Foman, did you have a happy childhood?"

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

Lol, thats Foman for you.

Actually, a Foman interview could be interesting, although I'd be interested in some of the other members mentioned first.

And if you do the interviews over MSN, you could always use the character limit that is imposed by MSN, plus a sentence or two for thought completion. =P

Edit: Heh. I accidentally put my reply in the middle of the quote. I thought something looked odd there.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

I still have nightmares of him screaming and throwing objects in contest to the 10,000 character limit.
