Which Movie Trilogy is your Favorite?

Myself, I gotta go with Indiana Jones. It's got the right mix of everything. Second would have to be Evil Dead, because Bruce "This is my Boom Stick!" Campbell is... the best.

Matrix 1 and 2 were very good. #3 didn't spend enough time in the Matrix.

Matrix 2 and 3 were crappily directed, awfully written and unessecary trainwrecks. They were dismal, abysmal and crap boring. They alienated the audience, were pretentious and convoluted (in a bad way). Its irrelevant whether or not they 'made sense' or you can justify their existence in terms of 'extending the Matrix storyline', they were bad. Not even in the same league as the original, in fact, I dont consider the Matrix a triology, I consider it one clever film, with an interesting concept and intuitive design, and two other fat, bloated and festering messes with no reason for existing, other than to consume fiscal resources.

Anyone who believes the second and third films were good obviously doesn't get why the first was so brilliant, and just loves the 'my first philosophy' babble that gets crammed down your throat. "Love is a word" No shi.t f.ucknuckle? And this is my arse, leaving the cinema.

Oh, and Lord Of The Rings trilogy, despite Indiana, Evil dead and Star Wars also rocking.

From what they've released of it so far, it looks like it could be a winner.

Terminator is pretty good, though Terminator 3 kind of had no purpose - 2 was the best. I think the Aliens series is pretty good especially Aliens. Ressurection was OK, but the others kind of sucked.
