Forum Rules for those who care to know what they are.

I think truely that when a topic ends by the moderator, they should give whoever is responsible the message for it. (A warning or acknowledgement)

They usually do. On most occasions, a moderator will either PM the person who's thread they lock, or send them a message via the Disembodied Soul. However, if it is obvious why the thread was locked, they will just lock it and move on. If you ever have a question, you can message a moderator to find out who locked your thread and why.

However, I feel there should always be a little blurb, either as a new post or edited into the original post, explaining why the thread is locked. But, I respect the fact that the moderators have outside lives, and may not have the time to make posts and moderate the forums. In that case, I am fine with them just locking threads.

Yes, i just recieved such notice for a forum earlier. Someone critcized me and i overeacted. My bad.
Apparently, nobody got my joke about "-blamed-" not being a curse word but simply "-blamed-".

Exactly, i think they should leave a notice closing the forum.
