"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

The last donation I gave to Recon was for The Blind Quadriplegic Puppy Fund. The day after my donation I saw Recon riding around on a brand new Vespa.
Strange…I sent a donation to the “Get Recon a Vespa” fund and received a letter about blind quadriplegic puppies and my charity towards them and their plight.
If I might build upon Foman’s advice, the process of contributing involves being a good person and letting all of that goodness flow into your virtual self. Obviously, posting is a basic method of contribution. Posting in the right manner is rather simple. If you see a stupid thread, don’t go into it. If you see a person flaming someone else, or who is spamming the forums, then tell a moderator (this cannot be stressed enough). If someone makes a mistake, kindly inform them of that mistake and how they might correct themselves in the future. Just follow this sort of general trend.
Furthermore, making good threads is a lot of help. It not only sparks discussion, but if you think you have an idea on a way to improve the community or the site, then you can always come here to suggest it. At the very least you’ll get some good criticism.
And of course, if you have any questions, ask someone. It’s better to admit you don’t know something and ask for help than to risk making a mistake. Pretty much any moderator would be happy to help, or you can just search around this forum for some people who you think are knowledgeable and friendly.
Now go! Go and build up that lovely social capital!
