I've been looking at some of the classes I can take at the local Junior College. Thing is, I can't decide what I want to do! There's so much good stuff in here. So I narrowed it down as best as I could, and decided to go with courses from the Computer Science/Information Systems and Networking. So my question is - do any of you see something on this list that you find particularly interesting or cool? Keep in mind I'm only listing classes with no prerequisites.

Introduction to Computers and Data 3 units Processing
Introduction to the Internet
Visual Basic Programming - Level 1
C++ Programming - Level 1
C# Programming
Web Scripting with PERL and Javascript
Developing ASP.NET Web applications
Internet Authoring with FrontPage 2002 - Level 1
Networks and Data Communications
Local Area Network Design and Switch Management
Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server Environment
Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Windows Network Infrastructure
Network Defense and Countermeasures

They're all worth about 3 units, and I'm interested in pretty much all of them, so I was just wondering what you guys thought.

They all sound interesting. I was thinking about going the same route this semester. I was probably going to take C++ Programming level 1. But an introduction to the internet course, may hold some interesting information.

Heh. I'd love to help you pick some courses, Tanikaze, but my Computer Science/Information Systems and Networking skills are not exactly up to par with your own. I can build a good computer, yes, but that's the extent of my knowledge. Realistically, I can't give any advice because I don't know enough about those courses to help.

In any case, good luck at Junior College. You might need it.

Yeah, I heard that universities love this kind of stuff. So I'm going to get a job and start taking a couple of college courses next year for some practical life experience.

Oh, and for the record, all of my networking/computing knowledge comes from my elective this semester, Information Technology.
