Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."

Achilles, yeah. GC is an awesome console. So is X Box. And PS2... well, I guess it kind of is. Sometimes.
Power wise, X Box rules. Online multiplayer wise, X Box rules. But nostalgia wise... that spot goes to Gamecube. Zelda is amazing. Every single game in the series has been worth the expense to be able to own. I didn't like the Playstation Resident Evils, but the GameCube remakes looked mighty fine. I'm not very much into horror games as much as FPSs, action/adventure and RPGs, but I must admit they looked fun from what I saw. Now RE4 makes me feel like I've been missing out on some fun stuff, just from watching the trailers. I was a bit disappointed with Wind Waker's graphical style at first, but after a while I realized just how phenomenal it actually was. It all fits so smoothly and plays so nicely... my only complaints with that game were its difficulty- it was far too easy- and its length. Ocarina of Time had what, eight dungeons? Wind Waker only had six, and each was very short. What happened to the brilliant Water Temple? Ah, oh well. the final boss in WW more than makes up for that :)
And just for good measure, my favorite game series is Final Fantasy. Guess what console most of those are on? That's right. Playstation.
Not a big fan of FF, hate the way they have just churned out game after game for profit. Although some are good. I don't own a PS2, though I may get one since there are a few games I want to badly play that are exclusive to PS2. Oh and you are missing out my friend, in the RE department. Nothing gets me more excited than starting to play a new RE well into the night, with no illumination say the TV, and full surround sound. Zero was alright, but the aspect of there being a partner with you made the experince not as immersive, in other words I didn't have a heartattack playing Zero like I did REmake and the others. THere's nothing better when you walk into a room/hall and it's dead silent, it's ONLY you no one else around and some freak of science bursts through a wall/window/etc. and scares the living S H I T out of you... right before it attacks. *Tear comes to eye remembering RE2* Also, personally I agree with what you said about WW, and in Ocarina, my fav Temple was the Forest, the Water was so tedious, but the boss was awesome and when you had to fight your mirror image.... out--blam!-ing-standing.
