un gato, I have to say that I'm very impressed. It's really funny because you're stirring up contention among them without really doing a whole lot.
This hk fellow seems a little...umm...power-hungry. Like a dictator. It's almost like if someone doesn't completely agree with him then they need to die. And then he goes off and acts like he never did anything wrong.
Oh, just a little side note, too. Tell this to all the Halo 2 haters who were disappointed that there were only a few earth levels.
In the November 2002 (but, actually, more like October. The December issue went on sale November 5th) of EGM, there was a huge story on Halo 2. Now, keep in mind that this was a good solid two years before Halo 2 came out, and even before a huge majority of the game was made. Read this.
"...There's going to be lots of cool places to go that aren't earth," Bungie boss [Jason] Jones says. So far, we've seen concepts for a level set in a hydroponic plant; on an orbiting space outpost (MAC platform, anyone?); and on a mining station floating in the upper wisps of a gas giant...(Hmm...ring a bell, anyone?)"
Maybe this is why I wasn't disappointed by the levels--I knew in advance that the game was going to be more than just an Earth battle.
So, can any disappointed Halo 2 mudslinger now actually validly argue that Bungie cheated them because they didn't have enough Earth levels? No.
