Wafer by name, Wafer by nature.
Basically what the title says, whilst this is put forward as a real question, if nobody provides a real answer, hopefully it's interesting rhetoric. I think, but I've not been able to find out for certain, that the lack of support for VGA in Halo 1 is a PAL specific issue, as the game is only coded for 50MHz output (the same problem is what limits Halo 1 to regions on XBC and the like), so I don't know whether everyone knows the specific problem that I'm speaking of, but Halo 1 doesn't support VGA output on my 360 at least.
It occurs to me that fixing this may involve breaking system link for the PAL region, which may impede this. Personally, I was surprised that the 360 wasn't able to fix the output in emulation to begin with, but hey.
As a bonus question, will it support the use of the Guide during gameplay? It'd be sweet to throw on some Halo whilst I'm just chilling out, and then if someone on my friends list jumped onto Halo 3, I could join them in multiplayer.
