Let me start of saying the old school mods who worked here got work done that I'm sorry the current ones are not. Is it a lack of staff members, or a lack of attitude? Where did Ninja on Fire (Jeremiah), SketchFactor, dmb, and GameJunkieJim. I didn't know anyone but Ninja. I was a more popular Optimatch forum viewer and thats where Ninja spent his hours. I could go into explanation about him. And I think I will.
All points in this topic posted by myself will be proved with a topic or reply.
Ninja's backround
Well.. I have a hypothesis. Back in the day of Halo 2, the Optimatch Forum was more popular than the Halo 2 forum. A more popular moderator for Bungie back then was Ninja on Fire (Jeremiah). He had a attitude to post to all important and productive topics. I'm not dissing any other mods, since they have more important stuff like working on Halo. My first request is here. Could we have more mods? These days mods close and lock topics without replying why. I understand they are tired of reading the same topics, but come on. My second request is here. Why can we post so fast? Please make an auto spam protector. My topic makes the 2nd page in under 2 new topics, since the 10 sticked topics. Now let me talk about those. The custom game finder made by whoever is garbage. You need to add the game yourself, it isn't directly from xbox.com stats, or Bungie.net stats and no one adds them. I understand mods try to get messages across by stating the point in the subject like (EX-I Can has Recon!? NO!) We understand from the 100's of replys you made, but still people get banned. The more topics you sticky the faster other topics leave the page. Only have like 2 or 3 topics sticked. If you want the podcast questions sticked, forget about it. A real topic that needs to be stickied will stay on the top, due to replys to it, But for all those topics you stickied only 17 topics make the first page.
Unlike most forums most of those topics are new and have no replys. (soon to be this one) Which relates back to my point of creating spam filter. About 2 days ago a member created 5 topics all about how to record videos on your computer from Halo 3. He bumped all of them, till he disappeared.
Back to Ninja on Fire....He was a mod for the new comers here. He posted alot in the Optimatch forum, he one day announced he was going on vacation (Hawaii I think) For 1 month around no updates to Halo 2 came and thats when the complaining of Halo 2 began. Evan Braum created a topic called "Rumble Hardcore" he actually used punctuation and bbcoded his points. Post like that catch moderators attention. Ninja was gone and everyone back then was posting about him. Then one day he posted and everyone was like "uber hax0r 1337 hes back" Sadly, he was just posting from Hawaii. Then he returned in under 1 week. The Rumble Hardcore topic had been stickied and the matchmaking update topic by Ninja was posted saying, "(finding topic) Then there was the respected user Lucky Sniper 07. He made over 15 topics of suggestions for matchmaking in perfect format. He was a respected user in my booklet. I honestly need mod approval to prove this, but I think Ninja was the one who kept the H2 Matchmaking list, in the Halo 2 project section updated. It started out over 200 lines long, but Ninja reduced to around 50, but putting the maps for the specified game type in the same table, allowing skimming to be easier. For any interested in Ninja on Fire, he still plays Halo 3 his profile is Here Another quick thing, why can't people hyper link their links. Nothing makes me more mad, then having to copy n paste a link to watch a montage video. Its quite simply how, its below us and it follows bbcode. Also wheres Shishka?
This thread mainly was pointed towards Ninja since thats were the problem started. Its like a simply science question. Why do pines in YellowStone die? Because the wolves 50 years ago were killed, not because of pollution (even though that takes a toll) it all starts with something. If you relate that to Halo 3, that community wouldn't spam and complain as much if Ninja was here, since he replied to topics, told people what he did wrong etc. Thats the reason I'm 100% sure. Its not because the game is flawed, since Halo 2 was too, its because we don't have someone to control it, like Ninja. The optimatch forum was always more popular than the Halo 2 forum, why did we move out of it. Topics move pretty slow on that forum. I'll donate 50 bucks Ninja to you coming back. I'm serious. If it comes open up a paypal donate thing, and I'll donate.

I learned a lot from Halo 2, but I took it all with me when I left. ;)
It's a little early to be biting and clawing, I think you can express your concerns without being an ass about it. The MP guys are very intelligent, but they're also very careful... so you're going to have to be patient whether you like it or not. The only thing you can directly influence is if they want to listen to what you're saying, and the best way to prevent that is to come in guns blazing with insults.
He said it right here. He left! We know hes gone, his contract expired so he left.

As Shishka already clarified, I do not work for Certain Affinity. I'm working on a super awesome project with Pete Parsons and Jordan Weisman.
Search Certain Affinity, and its the company that released the Tombstone and Desolation maps to Halo 2.

His name title is now avius custos
A online search and this comes up
avius - wandering, lost, astray (when referring to a person)
custos - guardian, sentinel, watchman, jailer, spy
So a lost watchman? Lost moderator?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whats his name bring up on Google?
This link shows him developing the following games
Halo 3 (2007), Microsoft Game Studios
Halo 2: Multiplayer Map Pack (2005), Microsoft Game Studios
Halo 2 (2004), Microsoft Game Studios
Halo: Combat Evolved (2003), Microsoft Game Studios
MechAssault (2002), Microsoft
Here he is on IMDB, don't know why but he is
His name is here used as the "Special Thanks" for Halo 3.

So whats that secret project he mentioned
So we cross reference those 3 names and we get
Jeremiah Pieschl .... contract tester: localization team
Jordan Weisman .... chief creative: 4orty2wo, "I Love Bees" promo game (uncredited)
Pete Parsons .... nothing found
So it seems one makes the game as the other tests it?
dead end.

My identity isn't really a secret, my name and even a picture have been posted on Bungie.net before.
To answer the questions of what I do, well - on Bungie.net I gather user feedback for playlists and multiplayer in general. I do other things not related to that though, but for the safety of myself and all of you, that information will remain classified.
This profile has the name "on Fire" but I don't see Ninja as that guy, so dead end

His comment on xboxlive is "I fyreball, do you?"
I searched that and it looks like a myspace site, that is for his people only. I sent an app to get in, info to come.
He was last on 6 hours ago, so he is still out there.
Heres the fyreball site, if your interested
More to come...too late.
The search is on!
Our goal: Bring him Back!
I will reply quickly to reserve space, because I only have 303 characters...289 left.
