Live for nothing die for something.

it would be a complete waste of time without online mutiplayer, might as well buy a used one for under $10

No online multiplayer, confirmed by M$ Xbox 360 executives in IGN's Three Red Lights podcast

So I saw an article about how Halo was going to be introduced as DLC on the Marketplace. Heres a link to the article:

http://www.gamesradar.com/us/xbox360/game/news/article.jsp?se ctionId=1006&articleId=20071113142439250012&releaseId =20060321132945404017

I was thinking about it and I said yes, but only on one condition: Halo had online multiplayer. I mean if you can download the entire game online why cant you play other people online?

Wow Microsoft had a great oppurtunity to actually make money off this. Guess its their lose. I mean why pay $15 for it online when you can get it for like $10 at any Bargain Bin?

Since the game would have to be rewritten in order to support XBL, I wonder, just wonder, if XBL-classic emulation is somehow going to support Internet system-link games. In other words, since the 360 is emulating an Xbox classic, perhaps the emulation could also be written to support/use a MS-written or licensed 3rd party type of tunneling software.

That way, any pre-XBL titles would be "playable" online, but not need to each be re-written with full XBL support or certification.
Yes, but then it wouldn't have the same quality or service as provided by the Xbox Live service.
