is Ridge Racers any good. Or if anyone here has played it for a good 30 minutes what's your opinion. I'm going to get one for Cristmas but the only game I asked for was Mario 64. I don't want to get Feel the Magic XY/XX. If I were to get that I might as well get WarioWare for it. But I can't wait until March for Mario Cart for a racing game so I need to know if it's any good.

I too am excited about Mario Cart because that is the game I grew up on. I also collected all of the stars on Mario 64 another game I love.

It plays ds and gameboy advanced games, but it dosent play the old color or B&W games. That is alright for me because I finished all of my old games.

If it can play GBA games, it can play color games, because the GBA was designed to be backwards compatible. Nintendo even said so. All previous games can be played on the DS.

I said, "Um, Yeah! Advance Wars rules! But, the last level is really hard. I'm smart, but Advance wars isn't easy."

Can the DS play Game Boy games?

What it can play:

Game Boy Advance games in single-player mode only
Game Boy Advance videos

What it cannot play:

Original Game Boy or Game Boy Color games
Game Boy Advance games in multi-player mode

Why there are limitations:
There are two main reasons that the Nintendo DS is not compatible with older software. For one, the system is designed for wireless play and lacks a link cable port. Because older games aren't designed to use the wireless features, they can't communicate for multiplayer games.

Also, the Nintendo DS lacks the special processor that is required to play these games. Because of the age of the processor, and the difficulty in adding that processor to an already highly complicated architecture, the processor was not included in the final design of the DS.

This was taken directly from the Nintendo website.
Now I must say that you Private Simmons were wrong not me.
