yea, I realize this probably isn't the best place to ask for help, but I went to the games for windows section of the windows site, and requestied techincal help thorugh email. they asked me to input my pid number, so i went inot the about section in halo 2, got it and tried inputing it wiht and without the dashes, numerous times, and it would not accept it. so yea, i guess no help from microsoft, supposedly the one and only place I am supposed to go.
anyways, I have had halo 2 for vist for a while. Hadn't palyed it since halo 3 came out, and wanted to play it again. I had recently reformated my hdd, so I re-installed it and logged into my gamercard, and got all teh updates. Well I am having a little problem with the resolution. My monitor is a widescreen hdtv and runs off a 1360x768 resolution. The last time I played halo, it worked fine, and under the video settins there was that exact resolution, but now when I go to the video settings, that resolution is not there. In fact, the only widescreen resolution i see is the one at the very bottom that is 1900 something. That setting does not like my monitor at all. Anywyas, what happend to the 1360x768 setting? Is it a glitch in my game, or did a update take it out? I would be very pissed if it was an update that took it out, meaning I couldn't enjoy the game I payed for on my pc anymore.
