Everytime i start up halo 3 the screen will just be green for about 5 or 10 seconds then it will go to the halo 3 i can hit "A" and make it go to the title screen for halo 3. I also cannot load my campain it always says that "players cannot load map." Does anyone have any idea what this means, or have any of you had similar problems? Im just glad its not affecting xbox live or multiplayer.

I haven't tried campaign yet, so I don't know about that issue, but yes ever since I downloaded the heroic map pack I've had the green screen. Also, when I go into custom games/forge, I have to look at the maps, press B (or select one of the maps) then go back in to select map again before the 3 new maps appear. Slightly annoying, but no major issue. Anyone know how to fix these (without spending another 800 MS points to download the map pack again)

there would be no way you would have to pay again.... as long as you payed once you can redonload it as many times as you want for free as long as your on the profile that payed for it..... as for the green screen, i dont know what is up with that..... could be your disc or maybe even corrupted downloaded content... if it just happened after you got the maps i suggest waiting for the update, which i think is today, or maybe delete the content and redownload it... it should be free, but if you get charged again for some weird reason you should call xbox and talk to them about it....

The exact same thing happened to me. It wouldn't load a few campain missions, and the screen would turn green instead of the whole 'Bungie' thing. Check and see if it has any scrachs, All I did was get the disc repaired, and Now it works perfectly.
