I do a bunch of 3D modeling, and have recently modeled some Halo related stuff. I thought you guys might be interested.

My best one is probably the Warthog.
http://www.toddfx.com/warthog.html
I also do a bit of Vice City modding, so I put the Warthog in VC as a drivable vehicle :)
Can't operate the turret, though.

I also modeled the Pelican and an Elite:
http://www.toddfx.com/pelican.html
http://www.toddfx.com/img/gallery3d/elite.jpg (no other renders of him yet)

I was able to download (http://www.yayap.com) the Master Chief model and textures used in the PC version of Halo, and did a rendering of him:
http://www.toddfx.com/mc.html

I'm lucky enough to have access to a ZCorp 3D printer, a machine that actually creates a tangable object from a digital 3D model. I printed my Warthog and the MC model, as seen in my Warthog and MC gallery links above.

Let me know what you guys think of my 3D models. What should I model next? Any ideas for a cool scene I could make with these?

Very nice! I think you should do some of flood, other Covenant, and the sentinals, and then put them into a big battle together. That would be awsome! Keep up the good work! : D

i can stop modders all i need is a combat shotgun and a -blam!-load of airline tickets

Make sure its not the game shotgun because then you might be point blank and not hit anything

Those are AWESOME! Sorry if I seem a bit over excited about this, but I'm planning on doing stuff like that when I get the chance. Great job.

You excell at 3D art. You should consider volunteering in doing 3D artwork for Halo3, if however possible.

Wow thanks guys, glad you like it :)
Right now i'm working on upgrading my Warthog to the Halo2 version. Theres a ton of little differances. Then maybe I'll make a few scenes.

Somebody mentioned something about doing volunteer work on Halo3. That would definitly be awesome, even if I didn't get paid for it :D

Also, look at my new car ;)

I finished that up tonight. I'm still not entirely happy with it though...It doesn't have the level of realism I was going for yet. One person told me it was way too dark, but it looks bright enough on my screen...maybe its just my monitor.

The one with the warthog and the people, the people are off scale. They're too small compared to the warthog. Bur other than that great job.

On the render with the 2 marines (actually their Star Wars people..I just changed the textures), I agree they do make the Warthog look pretty big. However, I scaled them according to the gunner's shoulder height. If i'm correct, the gunners shoulders should fit inside the butts of the MG, so I scaled them so their shoulders would fit nicely in there. I'll render one with MC in there tomorrow.

I was wondering, what 3D programs do you use, I got i free one i think its called anim8ter (theres a website type anim8ter at google if you want to find it) which you can make movies out of 3D objects that you made. But i have been having trouble using it, do you know of a good website or anything that can help me learn how to make better 3D objects? yours look great, can you make animations (with your program)? I also have Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and im making a 16-bit flash of master chief and i was thinking wouldnt seeing a 3D 16bit object look cool? a cool object you could do is that ject at the end of halo (1)

nice work man...it would be totally off the hook if you did a 3D sword fight scene between Master Cheif and an Elite. Let me know if you'll try it ok? Kewl hog in your garage. Hillarious that it would fit in a regular garage! :) keep up the awesome 3D models!

the tread on the warthog tires isn't right but these look badass anyway! Love the first one with all the mud.
