I'm a player of Halo 2 and Halo 3, and I've just noticed that on a great scale... people are trash talking all the time, t-bagging all the time, and it's just making me wonder what has happened to the gaming society- especially when it comes down to someone saying these two little words at the end of the game: "Good Game". And then he's the one being cussed out for it. Yes, that someone who said "Good Game" and was then put into a little more of a battle because I took offense to the fact that he couldn't at least just back out, but instead, he had to say that I was getting raped... second game, we faced again, and the first game, they were screwed out of it. I'm not going to lie. They lost two people at the start, we lost one, so it was 2v3, I never was disrespectful towards them. I still played the game just as I know how to play the game. So second game came around, they beat me. Even through the trash talking, I just told them straight out: "I'm going to tell you exactly what I told you in the last game- Good Game."
But I finally convinced that one guy to go 1v1 with me because of all his trash tralking, and I beat him 15-8. Then he is coming up with excuses. Sure, I had host. But I still stuck him like 5 times in one game. I sat on top of B3 with a Sniper. I still sniped him straight to hell. I still used a BR. I still did everything while keeping my cool, and managed to have plenty of assassination attempts, but didn't take them because of something in my head just saying to let him get a couple seconds of peace- so I left him alone at those times. I could've beat him far worse. But he still won't accept it! Sometimes you get a lucky stick, sometimes you just know where to throw it... he didn't.
Which brings me to my next topic: Why complain about camping on an FPS? It's the stupidest thing ever! You can do decent by running out blasting everything in your way, or you can do great by just taking the time to think about it, and take a more tactical approach. You get some people who win by like 5 points by running out, you could've won by 35 points by taking a more tactical look of things.
I'm not going to pretend to be the best, all I know is what helps me be as good as I am- I'll probably still get schooled by all the people going to MLG and stuff, but what helps me is just taking my time. I'm in no rush to win.
