I was just wondering what the different icons that appear near the name to some of the threads.

(If you know what i mean)

The Green Plus indicates a normal topic. The Yellow Exclamation Mark indicates a topic of interest that is pinned (and therefore a sticky). Finally, the Red image symbolises that the thread has been locked, and no replies can be made.

Oh. Thank you very much. I think perhaps that if Bungie lock a thread, they should message the person whom violated the rules. (just a suggestion)

It all depends on the circumstances in which the thread gets locked. For example, a user might start a decent thread, but it's other members that turn it into a flame war or spamfest, and therefore get it locked. But not all offences merit warnings, it's all down to the severity of the offence.
