I've downloaded everything for HEK, and was wondering, how the heck do you start it???? Where do I go??? lol. Sry that this is a burden, its just that I really want to create maps and are stuck at this one part.

So if someone could just direct me to a site that has these answers, or something of the sort. I would be greatful that you've done so. :^)

There's a tutorial that came with the HEK download. It's really helpful. It walks you through everything from setting up the programs to actually making a real level. It even shows you how to use 3DS Max! You can find it in the Start menu in the same folder as HaloCE and the HEK programs. Or, if you don't want to read it on your local machine for whatever reason, you can also read the whole tutorial on cortana.org

If you want to use the HEK to make Halo CE maps, go on over to http://halomods.com/tutorials/Mapping/hek_vid_tutorial/hek_vi d_tutorial.php and grab Kirk4's tutorials on map making (there are nine in total). These will teach you how to make a basic map, and start you on your way to making awesome maps. You will need the program 3ds max by discreet (its a $1500 program) OR you can download G-Max, the gamers free version, then head on over to the gearbox forums for info on how to export g-max maps. To get G-Max, go to http://discreet.com and for the exporter, search Chimp 1.5 on the bearbox forums. They will have all the info there on what you need to do.
