Do you think Bungie is a little hard on us? Not only do they shove their RECON armor in our faces, but they are making us buy 1000 points, then use 800 for the map pack and be left with 200 which won't get you crap. Plus, players have made countless requests to bungie about halo 3 and what do they get for their trouble. NOTHIN. So my question stands. Is bungie a little to hard on us?

How have they "shoved the armor in our faces" woohoo they wear it they don't taunt us saying haahahahahahaha we have it and you don't you suck. Also 800 has been basically a standard for all map packs on the 360. As far as countless requests? They released the first public beta on a console which lead to redesigning High Ground and making it more balanced. All the little updates they do on the side that we have no idea about due to their types of servers. I recommend if you go to trash talk someone A) Do research and know your topic and B) Don't post on the companies forum where they can lock/ban you.

No, I don't think so.

Recon Armor
First of all, there is nothing wrong with Bungie giving special armor to themselves. Compare it to a similar situation -- an artist creates lots of pieces of very good art that he sells to the public, but prefers to keep his favorite pieces to himself and his friends and family and the friends and family proudly display them to anybody who comes over. Is that unfair? Of course not. This is no different -- Bungie created the game, and is thus entitled to give themselves little bonuses. It's not like they are giving themselves an advantage in play -- it's merely an armor permutation.

It is time for people to begin to face the fact that they can't always have what they want. Sometimes, even money can't buy the things you want. I'm sorry if this comes as a shock to some people, but I am actually a bit saddened by the uproar over the Recon armor.

Microsoft Points
Why don't you just buy 400 points twice? Besides, this is an XBL issue, not Bungie.

Requests
I disagree. Bungie has been great about listening to honest, well-thought-out suggestions and issues. Moreover, when the vast majority of the Community has agreed on something, the change is often made. I think a lot of the perception that Bungie isn't listening comes from the fact that they don't always respond on the forums. This becomes especially problematic in highly controversial situations, such as the issues of whether to bring the pistol back, whether to have an MLG-style playlist, and whether to make certain changes to various weapons. When half the people are saying they like things one way, and the other half prefer them the other way, at least half the people will always think that Bungie has ignored them.

Don't ever make the mistake of thinking that Bungie isn't listening to the Community. Just because Bungie doesn't make the change that any person or group of people are advocating for does not mean that Bungie is being "too hard" on us.

Hopefully you come to these realizations, my friend, and learn to enjoy things as they are, even when you don't get exactly what you were hoping for.
