The only advice I can give you is to read this. It may help you. Sorry I don't know more about posting screenshots.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -

That's... odd. No, you shouldn't need a certain number of posts. You've been here long enough that there should not be any restrictions on your account. It may be a forum bug.

Has your gamertag been banned from anything, by any chance?

I'm afraid I can't offer a quick answer; I've never heard this problem before. Just so we're on the same page, would you quickly describe what you do when you're trying to publish a screenshot?

Edit: You said you read the guide, so I can assume we're on the same page now. Unfortunately, that means I can't really think of anything else to offer.

Hi AKU, this is what the page says

"Your current security settings do not grant you permission to access this area. Most of the time, this error is caused by an administrator limiting your access to this site. Another possibility is that your session ended due to you signing out (or the session timed out due to inactivity), and you are now the anonymous user who has limited access.

If you have encountered this message in error, please report this issue to bnetbugs@bungie.com. Include the day and time (include your timezone), your Bungie.net user name, what you were doing at the time, and what you expected to happen instead of this error message. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to have your issue resolved as soon as possible"

i think it might be a bug, why would an admin limit my access to the site when my first post was only around 5 minutes ago

Ah... I think I've discovered your problem. It's broken. ;)

I just tried to publish a screenshot, and it's not working for me either. So it's not just you, there is something going on over there.

Silver accounts can't upload screenshots. I learned that the hard way. Unless you buy Bungie pro but you may as well get a gold account if you're going to do that.

hmm... don't you already have a gold account? You can't play Halo or any other Xbox games online without it.

Silver accounts can upload screenshots, I do it all the time. But you can't put anything in your Fileshare, just take picture while signed in to Live and it will upload to your Recent Screenshots and from there you can put it in you Service Record Gallery and then publish it to the forums, easy.
