Scariest thing ever... hmm... probably the time when i was 13 or so when my friend came over and we went into my living room, sat down, turned on my Xbox (Not 360, didn't come out yet) and started to maul eachother at halo 1. then about a half an hour later, the lights flickerd off, then on, then off, then on. then it stopped. durring the middle "On" flash, we could've swarn we saw a buisness man, and my dads breifcase fell over...

Creepiest was the time when a three-inch spider crawled into my room, took my BB pistol and started shooting at it, never knew i had such good aim...

One time I was home alone chilling in my room, and I kept hearing foot steps in the kitchen. First time I thought "Oh, grandparents sure got home early" (they had gone somewhere. Dont remember). When they didn't say hello or anything, went out and there was no one there. I shrugged and went back to my room. Heard the noises again, again, no one there. I eventually turned up my music so I wouldn't hear anything from outside my room. It was really creepy, and I just didn't want to think about it.

That sucks... But I have to deal with that everynight....

My house is always making sounds that sound like footsteps.

I usually just play Halo 3 and turn the volume up really loud so I don't hear them.

But my scariest time was when me and my friend were, lets say 11. We were in my kitchen eating Lucky Charms all by ourselves, when all of the sudden we hear the garage door open. Nobody was coming over and my mom wasn't coming home for another hour or so. So, I quickly ran over to the door, locked it, and we ran up into my room and stayed there, hiding quietly in my closet, for an hour. When my mom came home, the garage door was wide open, but nothing was missing or changed in any way... Creepy...

When people don't have any other reasonable explanation, they use a poor and stupid excuse to defend themselves. Way back in the Quaker days it was witches, and now it's videogames.

I dont think i've ever had any experiences with a ghost. None that I remember lol...

A great man once said " If you give a man fire he'll be warm for a day, but if you light a man on fire he'll be warm for life.

My grandma died in my house a couple years back, I have to keep my guard up, we've had some strange things happening at times at my house since she's died.

I woke up one night to hear this absurdly loud object flying overhead, and my house is vibrating.

So I look out my window and this thing (whatever it is) is movie rediculously slow, but its LOUD.

So, I take a step outside, get one look at this thing, and notice that its not a helicopter.

Or a plane.
Or a jet.
Or a blimp.
And that its glowing a faint purple color.

At this point I'm going HOLY -blam!-! and running back inside. I make sure all my doors are locked, and by the time I was done, the noise simply stopped. It didn't trail off, it just abruptly stopped.

I thought it was a dream... until I heard my neighbor complain about something similar the next day.

To this day, I still can't explain what the hell happened that night.

The Covenant was coming for you!

One time I was at a friend's house at around 10 p.m.and there was a very bad storm outside. Eventually, the power went out. Sometime later, the storn had passed, but the power was still out. Then, off in the distance, maybe a mile away, I heard what sounded like an explosion, just loud enough to be audible. Then I heard it again, this time it sounded closer and louder. I heard it maybe 3 or 4 more times, each time louder and closer than the last. The next time I heard it, the "explosion" seemed to be right over the house, and it was so loud that it made my ears ring. It then continued on in the same direction until it became inaudible. Then, miraculously, the power returned. It scared the crap out of me.

so, i'm a christian, and this is kind of funny, yet strengthens my faith. my science teacher was making fun of that song by carrie underwood called "Jesus take the wheel". the next day she got in a car accident.

and... being home alone, and having a guy come up to my door and check to see if it was locked.

Once when I was little there was a storm out and I put my blanket over my head. I peeked out from it just a little and saw the face of a boy with a white face. Then I put my blanket over my head again and looked again just to see my Scooby-Doo pillow.

Hey man, give us some privacy!

I was playing on my computer one late night when my parents weren't home. And I got a handout earlier that day in school about a stalker in a red pickup truck that is loose around the providence. I see a car coming down my driveway, and I notice it was a RED PICKUP TRUCK. I was so scared, because I saw some guy with something in his hand get out of the front seat. I ran into my room after locking the doors all around my house, then grabbed my paintball and pellet gun. I built up enough courage to run to my phone and call my mom. I asked her if our neighbors owned a red truck, but she said no. I then proceeded to think the stalker was gone, but then I saw him go down my neighbors driveway and a guy with a KNIFE got out. I was so scared I locked myself in my room for a few hours, but I heard my front door unlock! I slowly crept downstairs, and I saw it was my parents getting home from work. I was so happy that it was them, and they called the police to arrest the stalker. I think they caught him finally, and I try not to stay home alone anymore.

That was definately the creepiest thing that's ever happened to me.

Hey man, give us some privacy!

Also, I just remembered something else that happened when I was around 10 or 11.

I was at my best friends house "exploring" in the woods deep behind his neighborhood. There was these old people who lived there, and about a month before, they were both murdered in a big robbery that happened in the neighborhood. Of course, my friend and I didn't know this so we basiclly walked right up to the creepy house. My friend yells "Woah, look!" and I turned and saw a white thing flash behind a bush. I was scared but we kept watching. Suddenly, this thing that looked like a gorilla with pale white skin, or if you've seen Lord of the Rings: Golem with pale white skin, ran across the yard in a lopsided fashion, while using it's hands for balance (like a gorilla). It was so scary we turned and ran as fast as we could out yelling. His mom came and picked us up, thinking we were just kidding. But seriously, it looked like a white ghosty gorilla, and my friend and I thought it was the haunted house.

Since then, NOBODY has even ventured near the house, because it is seriously pee-your-pants creepy looking. Also, if you think I am lying, I'm not. No, I'm not crazy, it's just what we saw, and I don't care if I get flamed, because I believe my eyes, not some random person saying "lawls, u r crazy dood."

I'm very proud to be a Christian gamer, and, even though I am young, I like wrapping my mind around things and looking at them from fresh perspectives, discussing them with others, and sharing opinions. Feel free to P.M. me any time.

This isn't creepy, at all. But my almost-16 year-old cousin, who is an awesome writer, writes some the creepiest stories I have ever read. I mean, crap in your pants kind of stuff. LOL, a few months ago she was writing one and we were in the car and she was trying to think of a name for a hotel. I gave her two choices, Hotel Zanzibar, and Last Resort. She though zanzibar was weird and just stared at me, and Last Resort we both cracked up and she's like: " I'ts supposed to be something that someone would actually go too." So I'm like: "NEW MOMBASSA." She used that.

P.S. I might have her send me one by email, so you can read it.

Well, I wouldn't exactly say it was creepy, but it maybe it kinda was since it was dark and as close as a few of the cars came from me.

T o sum it up.. as i got off work in the parking lot, after wiping icyness off my wind shield.. i went to go open my car door back up and realised I had locked my keys in my car.. with the engine running and radio on, huh. So I tried calling home but didn't work for some reason.. aanyway, I got me a good cardio workout and ran nonstop all the way home. Thats about close to a 20 min. drive. . . .

When I arrived home I collapsed in my front yard, layimg on my back, gazing up at the stars while breathing deeply with a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment.. for about a minute or two. Then I walked up the steps rang the door bell. I heard my brother walk to the door. I said "its me". I explained to him and my mom about what happened, got my spare car key. My brother drove us over there in my mom's car. When we arrived at my car it hadn't even lost an eighth of a tanka gas yet. So my brother and mom(he only has his drivers permit) followed me home.. annd, thats that.

My legs are a little sore but its nothing I haven't endured before.. *eats pecan pie with vanilla ice cream*

oh and this just happened a litlle earlier today

That wasen't creepy at all.
Infact if I weren't mistaken I would think that you just posted that to show us a bunch of bull S*** saying you ran 20 miles...
I don't think so.

Are you blind? He said 20 MINUTES

something weird that occasionally happens to me, the second i start to fall asleep i hear a loud "hey!" and i feel like ive been shocked, ive never been able to explain it but man is it weird when it happens

I have similar things happen to me from time to time. Except somethings it sounds like someone calling my name. I even look around sometimes because it sounds just like someone talking to me. It usually happens only when I am very tired.

Same here!

Sometimes im playing Xbox and I think I hear my mum calling me, when shes not.

When I first got 360, I heard a lot of 'achievement unlocked' ringings in my head, when I wasn't even playing.
That happens to me at school. It turns out it's actually a faucet dripping into a metal sink that creates a sound almost exactly like it.

What's even wierder is when you go to notepad and type in "Bush hid the facts" or something like that.
Save it, then open it.

Everything you typed will be gone, and there will just be squares in place of your text.

Umm, well I saw it for about 10 seconds, watching it run. Enough to get all the details in. =P Then I took off. I actually didn't know a 10 year old could run that fast. Adrenaline FTW!
