bumpin this thread.
anyway, its been a year since it happened, and i was at my church's youth camp this past week, which is what reminded me of this story:
last year at my youth camp, it was tuesday night, my brother and a few friends went out to the soda machine for soda. they were walking back across the games field when a huge green light flashed across the sky. a second later, a fog horn echoed across the camp. i wasn't there, but i heard the fog horn. the next day we found out at least 8 other people heard the horn. nobody can explain what it was.
this past new year too, me and a couple friends saw it. we were out in my friends yard as midnight rolled around, and as the fireworks start, we saw a huge red flash light up the sky, then a huge green flash. then a distant fog horn. we freaked out, ran inside and told everybody, but they said we were lying or they were fireworks. but, the flashes lit up the sky from one horizon to the other. what kind of firework can do that? we later found out, using maps, and such, that the flashes came from the direction the other flash originated from.
don't believe me if you dont want too, but it's 100% true.
