One time I was home alone chilling in my room, and I kept hearing foot steps in the kitchen. First time I thought "Oh, grandparents sure got home early" (they had gone somewhere. Dont remember). When they didn't say hello or anything, went out and there was no one there. I shrugged and went back to my room. Heard the noises again, again, no one there. I eventually turned up my music so I wouldn't hear anything from outside my room. It was really creepy, and I just didn't want to think about it.

that happens to me sometimes, then I turn on the TV in the other room or bring up the music.... Its so creepy, especially when its pitch dark outside and the only light in the house is in your room... *Chills*

something weird that occasionally happens to me, the second i start to fall asleep i hear a loud "hey!" and i feel like ive been shocked, ive never been able to explain it but man is it weird when it happens

I have similar things happen to me from time to time. Except somethings it sounds like someone calling my name. I even look around sometimes because it sounds just like someone talking to me. It usually happens only when I am very tired.

Same here!

Sometimes im playing Xbox and I think I hear my mum calling me, when shes not.

When I first got 360, I heard a lot of 'achievement unlocked' ringings in my head, when I wasn't even playing.

wtf... that just happened to me BEFORE i read ur reply.... i seriously heard the "achievement unlocked" ring in my head BEFORE i read what you said *chills*

One time I was at a friend's house at around 10 p.m.and there was a very bad storm outside. Eventually, the power went out. Sometime later, the storn had passed, but the power was still out. Then, off in the distance, maybe a mile away, I heard what sounded like an explosion, just loud enough to be audible. Then I heard it again, this time it sounded closer and louder. I heard it maybe 3 or 4 more times, each time louder and closer than the last. The next time I heard it, the "explosion" seemed to be right over the house, and it was so loud that it made my ears ring. It then continued on in the same direction until it became inaudible. Then, miraculously, the power returned. It scared the crap out of me.

rofl that was probably just the power coming back on and a few of the houses might have a surge (hence the "boom")

I have a friend who has the scariest -blam!- basement ever. The lights randomly flicker and shut off, aswell as his tv. I was over at his house and he was telling me that he was home alone one night watching tv and he heard his front door open. He listened and he could hear footsteps walking around upstairs, then he could hear someone walking down the steps. He was sitting on the couch and he could hear somebody right around the corner breathing heavily for a few seconds and then they just went back upstairs and left. As hes telling me this the tv shuts off randomly and im sitting in the spot he described. I just wanted to go home.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

A friend of mine once told about a time he woke up in the middle of the night completely paralyzed. He said he saw a hard, bright blue light filling his windows. He went further to say he saw in his periphial vision four or five man shaped things standing around his bed. He told me that they didn't leave, just that he woke up the next morning like it never happened. When he told me the story he was really freaked out, near tears. I believe him.

I loled after reading this. It was probly just a cop car outside if it was anything and he was scared so bad he hallucinated something that wasn't real while he was half asleep, like sleepwalking without walking,

That happens to me at least once a month, except I always dream that I'm falling into a big pile of fish that are all swimming counter clockwise in a circle... I know, weird. I've been having this dream for as long as I can remember.

I've seen this on TV (so it must be true /sarcasm)

You wake up while you're still dreaming, and your body hasn't woken up yet so you're still paralyzed. You know your body makes it so you don't move in the night and reenact your dreams. He probably half woke up, saw the "men" and fell back into a dream state, so It may have been a hallucination, maybe not. the mad Blimper claims to have seen a UFO once right over his house though, I have no explenation for that

The neighbor man called the cops on me n my brother. I think it was for like, he was stupid and shined a flash light at him, Rusty(Crusty), or sumthing when he was walking in his house at dusk. We were at the end of our opposite next door neighbors driveway, when we saw a police car drive by, stop at Crusty's driveway to exchange words with Crusty. So we ran to our backyard, I noticed that the cops were gona search for us to talk to us as soon as I saw a flash light point towards our backyard, it was dark. I told my brother, follow me.

So we went around back behind our opposite next door neighbors house, and then the next, darted down the driveway, across the street, and hid laying on the side of a hill, about 10 ft from the road, in edge of the woods, for about atleast an hour until the popo left. They didn't find us and never came back, over something so frivolous anyway. It was about more fun than it was creepy actually.

Also one day Crusty chased, me, my brother, and a couple others down the road on his riding lawn mower, slow as hell. This one chubby kid couldn't keep running, but culd outwalk that pueca crap anyway, lol, I was laughin my ass off, lol. Perhaps Crusty was drunk that day, I noticed he was often very red faced.

Check my masterpiece here.

I have two. The first is me and my friend went out at like 2 a.m. to go play basketball. We got to the courts and started playing and then I noticed this black cat just watching us. It kept watching us for like 10 minutes. We are both really superstitous so I say, "Lets get the -blam!- out of here." We start walking back to my house and I look back. The cat is following us. When we stopped it stopped. And when we walked it walked. We ran all the way back to my house and locked the doors and had my dogs sleep with us. Weird cat.

The other is when I was a litle kid probably 6 or 7. I woke up one morning during summer and went to pee. When I came back to my room I looked down at a book next to my bed. I saw a scorpion there and it wasn't moving. I thought it was just a toy so I poked it to see. When it moved I -blam!- ran and my mom sprayed a full can of raid on it and it still lived! My dad caught it and let it loose behind Walmart(lol). I later found it was one of the really poisonus kinds. I'm just glad I saw it before I stepped on it or something.

When I was a kid, I didn't like the dark, because dark objects combined with my already crappy vision meant that things looked...well...creepy. Like evil beings or something. I was smart enough to know that they were just things lying around the room, but it still freaked me out, especially when I didn't know what the object actually was that I was looking at.
I had a lot of bad dreams because of it. I distinctly remember one where I was in my backyard and red scorpions (thousands) started approaching me, cornered me, and started attacking me. It was a while before I woke up. I could swear that I felt physical pain from that dream.
But the worst one psychologically for me was...well, I don't remember what I initially dreamed about, but I sure didn't like it. I woke up really freaked out, and started to walk to my mom's room (because that's what I did when they were really bad). There in the hallway was a big freaking huge glowing dragon. I was wide awake, too. It scared me so much. Obviously, since I still remember what it looked like. It was obviously a hallucination from me still being tired, but I had no explanation for it at the time, nor did I for a while after that. But oh man was it creepy.

EDIT - Oh, and a more recent one. If anyone follows the Broncos or lives in Colorado (I fit into the latter only), I walked by a limo two years ago on New Years' Eve with my brother and a friend in downtown Denver. It wasn't in the best part of town, it was about 1:45 AM, and we were alone. We thought that it was kind of odd. I woke up in the morning and turned on the news to find that Darrent Williams, a football player for the Broncos, was in that limo and was shot and killed less than 30 minutes later. That was horribly real to me. I mean I saw that limo. If we had done anything else downtown we might have seen the guy die. Poor guy. Rest in peace.

a few months ago I was alone in the house and it was about 11pm, and I was watching this horror movie where these guys get murdered in a forest. when the movie ended I looked out the window, (my house is on the edge of a forest) and I swear I could see a sihouette of something out there.

VERY creepy

this freaks me out but I still read it anyway.... so anyway...

I really havn't had that many creepy moments in my life, but this is the probably the freakiest...

Ok, so I am sitting at my computer doing my homework ( no, really =P), and I had been staying up (2:30 AM or so) wayyy past the time I usually go to bed because of something like 3 projects and 2 tests and a quiz that week, as well as a homework load that was heavier than usual. I am just typing away on an essay due later that week(while everyone else was asleep), and I hear this voice that sounds like it's coming from a farther part of the house "Robert? are you there?" I think this is just my dad checking on me because I was staying up so late, so I say "Yeah, I'm here." 2 seconds later, I realize my dad is on the other side of the house, sleeping on the couch.... I hear the voice again "Hello?"... and it couldn't have been my mom or sister, because the voice was deeper... So I get all freaked out and im thinkin holy -blam!- that can't be anyone I know. I naturally hit "Ctrl + S" then ran to my dad and woke him up(he was snoring the whole time, even when the voice was talking, so it couldn't have been him). It scared the -blam!- out of me. After I woke him up, I didn't hear the voice again and decided to shut down and quickly go to bed... It still creeps me today

Although now, I am starting to get a feeling that it was me just being overworked and stressed and that I hallucinated the whole thing.... only problem with that is it seemed WAY TOO REAL...

I sometimes have sleep paralysis....in which my mind wakes up, but my body does not.
I can see, and look around, but I cannot move. And my breathing is slowed.

It's not simply me dreaming either.
