I woke up in a hospital, and all the lights were out, and when I shouted no one came by, and I had stitches on my arm(Goddam bagels).

I wake up at like 1 A.M one night because my brother was shaking me saying he saw a shadow walk out of the room. When we go downstairs, there's nothing. I look out the window, and for a split second, I see the reflection of a person behind me. I turn around and there's no one. My brother had gone upstairs so it wasn't him. Then when I go back to bed, I see a shadow walk down the hall. I went bak to sleep, scared to death. I haven't experienced something like this since, but I still remember.

So this one time, i was at a sleep over at a friends house, and his bed is like perpendicular to his door, and we were laying on the ground playing on his DS, on the other side of the bed from the door, so if we looked we could only see the top half of the door. The door was a tiny bit open. then at like 1 in the morning, his dog comes in slowly through the door and all we could hear was the creeky door open and since the bed was in front of us, we couldn't see the dog, we thought the door was like, being opened by a ghost!

Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle!

So last night, I went to bed at 2 AM. I couldn't sleep, then I hear my hallway door start moving like crazy. (not like moving out of the hinges, like something wanted to rip it out of the way) So I hear this swishy noise, I thought, "Probably just the dish washer." It won't stop. So I get out of bed, and walk down to my hallway. Here's how my house works, my bedroom is on the edge of the hall, halfway down is my hallway door, then to the left is my brother's room. At the other end of the hallway, is my front door, then to the right is my living room which has a glass collection, so I see the reflection to my kitchen. I couldn't see anything in the reflection, except for the empty kitchen. So I walk into the kitchen, and I felt like something walked right into me. So I look up, and I see all these things rushing into my head. I felt nothing, and began to sprint back through the hallway and into my bedroom. I couldn't sleep, so I watched TV. Lucky for me, Family Guy was on. I fell asleep at about 4 AM when the Family Guy hour was over. I still question what happened.

"I whispered in her ear:
Fear me dear, for I am Death. I'll take your hope, your dreams, your love. Till there's nothing left"
- Bring Me The Horizon

One day I was deer hunting in Wisconsin with my grandpa and my uncle. On our left was a dead corn field, on our right was into the woods. A deer came out of nowhere in front of us like 10 feet away and stood there. Just...stood there. And my uncle lifted his gun. He fired and it ran over the corn field.
Thats not the scary part...
Then we found the deer under a tree across the corn field. I reached down to touch it. Then it got up 1 foot in front of me and ran away, knocking me down. Of course my uncle shot it again though..lol...scary though

When in doubt, throw bombs at it.

What happened...?
One day..
I went home a long walk from school.
A tall man who seemed to be floating on tentacles,
In a white coat with a white hat followed me.
At first I thought the tentacles were my mind,
Due to the distance,
He followed me,
and followed...
I went home and he watched through my window for a while..
But I lived in a two story house and they're was no ladder.
He vanished and kept my Ka-Bar
and Steel Toe Boots on.
With a pellet gun.. In my arms... Facing the window,
and the door.
I soon searched it on the internet,
When my parents arrived home..
The Slender Man.

I woke up.
It was all a dream.
I sit up with sweat rolling off my arm.
I stand up and as I dress,
He's in my window.
I screamed.

But he vanished?

Watching X files in the dark. I always hate when Mulder always runs into the a dark and creepy area by himself but that was like 7 years ago I can take it.

There seem to be alot of posts about these "ghost tales." There are also alot of posts specifically about this Slender Man. Honestly, I have no clue what anyone means when they talk about him. My friends and I are just looking through these "ghost tale" forums and he just keeps getting mentioned. I personally don't believe in these sort of things, but they are good for a laugh every once in awhile. Well, I've just spent about an hour sitting here reading this crap, and now my ribs hurt from laughing. I'm not making fun of any of you if you believe this, but I just can't help buy find this funny. Somehow none of this scares me (some of my friends say I'm somewhat emotionless and heartless).

Me and my friends last night at around 2 in the morning were sitting on top of a newly built play ground at my old elementary school smoking some weed and just having a good time. (I'm not sure if this is relevant at all but,) There was a small group of people on the second play ground behind us.

Basically just doing the same thing we were doing, they kept to them selves so I didn't think anything of it and we just continued to talk and have a good time. Until one of them said "Holy -blam!-, lets get outta here" I looked at were they were and they all suddenly stood up and walked over to their car.

They got in and sat there for a couple seconds then slowly drove away. I didn't think much of it and continued taking a couple tokes. I started to cough from taking in too much smoke and looked up and looked at the stars. Then I saw one bright star that looked like the northern star, but it wasn't in it's usual place.

I then realized it was moving, very fast. It wasn't a shooting star and wasn't as fast as one, it was a single bright white/light blue orb. I thought to myself, what the -blam!- is that? I pointed it out to my friends and they saw it too, it did not have a red and green light on either side so it wasn't an airplane or helicopter and we just couldn't figure out what it was.

The other thing that confused us was that it was high up but around the same height that airplanes fly at, yet it was a lot faster and made absolutely no noise. It wasn't falling or anything just, going in a straight line. It wasn't very creepy, actually it was almost beautiful, then it disappeared behind some clouds and wasn't seen again. Then we saw an actual airplane fly by about a minute later, at the same altitude and new that what we saw was not human.

It just had this feeling that went along with it, like as soon as you saw it you felt peaceful but still uneasy. It's really hard to describe. But what was creepy is that about ten minutes after that, my girlfriend said she had the feeling of being watched, I told her there was nothing to be scared of but she practicly begged for us to leave, and usually I'm a hell of a lot worse than being in the dark than she is.

Oh yeah, and the day before that happened I remembered my mom told me that there were lots of UFO sightings reported in the newspapers... located in Vancouver and surrey. Those are the two cities that are right beside the town I live in

I'm an Artist and Musician from the UK. I enjoy science and telling other people about it, often when they don't want me to. I'm also a fairly cynical person, but I enjoy wondering about new ideas and possibilities and the like. Wasn't that interesting?

Once, when I had just gone to bed in the silent early hours of the morning, something really strange happened to me.

I started to hear an odd, muffled sound coming from downstairs. I was sure I was imagining it, and so I tried to close my eyes and get some sleep.

But it didn't stop.

It was like music, quiet, eerie music. My heart started to beat faster. There was no-one downstairs.

I sat up and walked over to my door, holding the handle but frozen with fear. Opening it, I gazed out into the dimly lit landing, my eyes scanning for anything, hoping that the music had stopped.

It was still playing.

Creeping down the stairs, I felt the cold hand of fear running down my spine as I walked into the darkness. I swore I could hear... rustling, movement. Heart in my mouth, hands shaking, I reached the source of the quiet music; the kitchen.

The CD player just sat there, music that I had never heard before filling the black room. Something banged in the other room.

Quickly reaching for the player, I hit the off button and ran straight for the stairs, hearing more rustling as I went.

At last I reached the top of the stairs, and as I went to close my door... I saw him.

A figure stood in the spare room across the landing, dressed in robe and holding a torn bag. He was hiden partially behind the door, but I swore I could see a single eye holding my horrified gaze.

I stared at this 'Musician' for what seemed like hours before I fumbled my way back through my door, slamming it shut behind me.

I couldn't step away, and my breathing was so heavy I couldn't hear or feel anything but the blood pumping through my ears.

It couldn't be real. It couldn't.

Fortunately, It wasn't. The next morning, I inspected and reviewed my experience; the CD player coming on randomly, I can't really explain exactly but it was almost certainly an alarm function coming on due to someone pressing an incorrect button at some point that day. The rustling in the living room? Perhaps it was our pet gerbils acting up, perhaps it was my imagination brought on by my state of fear.

And that strange figure in the doorway? Clothes and a bag hung on a wardrobe in a way that looked eerily human. It was a terrifying experience, but thank God it wasn't really ghosts.

The ending really killed the mood, but at least I'm not paranoid anymore.

I would probably scream so loud if that happened to me, I'm afraid of the dark.
