When one of my testicles slipped up inside my body. Freacked the -blam!- out of me when I woke up.
>mfw

This made me lol so hard.

I have a couple stories.

A few years ago, my friend came over to spend the night and when it was later on in the evening and we were trying to sleep we kept hearing a ticking noise. We had no clue what it was because we were at my house and I knew that we didn't have any clocks that sounded like that. So we went and looked around for the source of the noise and eventually we found this old wind-up clock in a box that was buried under some other stuff. We have no idea how the clock got wound up.

Another time I had an extremely, extremely vivid dream that I was tearing apart the floor in my closet and to my horror there was a skeleton under my floor. This is somewhat anticlimactic but the next morning I literally got on my hands and knees and looked around my closet to make sure that it wasn't real.

When I was younger and I was laying in bed, I would hear my parents call for me. So I would get up and go find them, they would usually be in the living room watching tv. Except every time, they said that they did not call for me. It was very odd because I could've sworn I heard my named being called through the walls.

One time I went on a floating trip and some of the guys decided to jump off of a particularly high cliff. I wanted to jump but it was so high up, I was nervous. Eventually I mustered the courage and jumped as hard as I could and when I landed, I felt my feet impact the bottom of the river almost instantly. I thought for sure I had broken both of my ankles if not my legs, and when I came above the water I swam slowly towards the shore with my arms expecting the worst. However, when I got to the shore, I found that I could walk, and after examining my legs I saw no visible damage and there was no pain. I still don't know how I didn't break anything from that, God must have been watching over me that day.

A few years ago my friend picked me up from my house. We live close to a highway so he started heading that direction because we were going into town. After a couple minutes I look up to notice that we had passed the highway, but I didn't remember us ever stopping. As it turns out, he did not see the stop sign and drove across 2 lines of highway traffic without stopping. I am lucky to be alive.

"Tolerance of intolerance is cowardice." - Ayaan Hirsi Ali

I fondly remember that as a child, whenever I would go to sleep, there would always be this creaking sound (akin to the creaking sound made by someone walking over a wooden floor). Considering that the entrance to the basement wasn't located too far away from my room, I would never be able to sleep due to the constant fear of something popping out from the door.

This went on for a couple of years, and as it turns out, the source of the creaking sound came from raccoons burrowing their way through the wooden infrastructure of the basement.

Me and my family eventually moved out of the house, but one week after we had finished moving out, the house collapsed upon itself due to the lack of any structural reinforcement in the basement.

We count ourselves very lucky.

If that's true then that's a great story

You got shot in the stomach? How bad was it? Btw, why is there a need to speak in Croatian?

A weird thing that happened to me was when I was on a campout with my fellow boy scouts. It was about 10:00-11:00Pm and we were playing manhunt. A couple of the scouts thought they had saw a man with a yellow shirt walking through the woods (none of us had yellow on for camouflage reasons). It was really scary because when we continued to play manhunt, we would see him again. And when we were hiding, we had our flashlights off which made it almost unbearable. Later when we played CTF and I was moving toward the enemies flag when I heard snapping of twigs and such. I thought it was my teammate but I couldn't see him, though I heard a voice. So I went on to prone next to the enemies flag. Then I heard more snapping of twigs. It was like someone was stalking me. So I froze. Then I continued on without hearing more. That night was freaky.

I once saw a random bright white explosion in the sky. It was relatively small from where I saw it (about the size of the moon viewed from Earth), but still really unexpected and bizarre

supernova, or a exploding weater balloon is my guess. But both of those happen very rarely.

Roses are red, violets are blue,
I was born pretty,
So what the **** happened to you?

About a year ago, I was home alone on my computer (which is next to a window). I was doing the usual; Facebook, music, ect.

My parents were out for a few hours, and I didn't expect them home for a few more, but I heard car doors slam outside my door. I thought, "Hmm, they're home early. I'll check it out."

In my driveway was a large white van, and at least 3 or 4 people dress in black sweaters got out.

One of them turned to see me watching through a window. I was in so much shock that I booked it across the house to call the Police.

As I was about to call, I heard car doors and breaks. They had gone, but I was left with immense fear and soiled jeans. #kidding about that last part.

Like two summers ago my brother, my two neighbors, and I went to explore a really wooded area behind the local elementary school. We were just walking around when we found a blue tarp made into a makeshift tent. We walked around a little further, when we heard loud yelling coming from a distance not far enough for comfort. Then out of nowhere these rocks started flying through the air towards us. Not pebbles, rocks the size of baseballs. We ran away, but in the confusion we got split up: I ended up with one of my neighbors, and my brother with the other. At that point me and my neighbor were freaked out, because my other neighbor wasn't answering his cell phone. It took like 30 minutes for us to find each other. They were okay, other than being freaked out like we were. My neighbor and I then realized that my other neighbor had left his cell phone at home, which is why he wasn't answering lol. I now believe a homeless person lived in the tent and was throwing rocks at us for intruding, but it was creepy at the time.

Woke up once at 6am, went to bathroom to have a piss just as I was about to finish someone starts banging on the bathroom door. Without washing my hands I pulled up my pants and rushed to open the door...no one was there.

The most creepy thing was that the house was silent my whole family were asleep, and my wooden floor boards are creaky so you can always hear footsteps. I could hear my dad snoring in his room yet I couldn't hear footsteps a meter away.

This is from personal experience. I was laying in my bed half asleep when I heard my bedroom door open, I looked at the door that leads to my bathroom in the hallway and saw a completely black stick figure walk into the bathroom, the second it got in there, the night light shut off, I sincerely thought it was my brother pulling a prank on me, but when I saw him laying in his bed, I was terrified :| There is an explanation for it now, but damn was it creepy. There was a night light in the bathroom because I was 9 when this happened...maybe 10.

All Who Walk the Blessed Path will Find Salvation, Even in Death...

When I was a young lad of about 11 years old I thought I always heard a sound coming from underneath my bed, I always kept my entire body under the covers as to not let whatever monster was lurking under my bed get me.

But there was one time, when I manned up and decided to look under my bed. I slowly crept out of bed, making sure not to put my feet in plain sight of what was hunched over, waiting for me under the bed.

I got my torch out and I slowly went to look under my bed. I was shivering and shaking all over. My heart beating on a million miles an hour, I put the flashlight under the bed. And there it was, the monster under my bed. The thing that had tormented me for so long.

My imagination.
