I've told a story on this thread about my grandma's haunted house, but I doubt anyone read it.
So, a few weeks ago, my grandma receives a call. I'm at her house and I hear the phone ring, but I didn't answer because the caller ID said "Unknown Number". So, we let the answering machine pick it up. When the message first went through, you know, when you can hear it as it's being recorded, it was a baby crying, for about 5 straight minutes. It sounded exactly like my baby brother. So, we figured it was my mom calling from someone's phone that's off the call list and the baby started getting fussy and she stopped to take care of him.
When we replayed the message to delete it, it was dead silence for the same amount of time we heard the baby crying before. Intrigued, grandma didn't delete it, and instead replayed it again. And, sure enough, it was nothing but dead silence. We deleted the message and checked the caller ID, but it said we hadn't received a call since 6 hours earlier the same day. A little shaky, but we were able to brush it off.
Exactly one week later, I'm sitting in my living room with my mom and baby brother. The phone rings, and it's unknown again. This is in a completely different house, mind you. So, as usual, we don't answer it. When the answering machine picks up, the baby starts crying again. It sounded exactly like my brother, and he was sitting 5 feet away from me playing with his toys. Now I started getting a little shaken. I asked my mom what the name was again, so she checked the caller ID, and there was no record of a call for the entire day.
I go back to play the message, and sure enough, it's nothing but dead silence. Again. Terribly frightening.
So then, ever since a few days later, my cell phone has randomly been ringing, and abruptly hanging up. I have no time to read the name and number, and the call log says nothing about anyone calling me since my last real conversation.
Weird thing is, as I've been typing this, my neck has been getting tingly, and my skin on my face and upper body is getting colder and colder, but my body is becoming hot. I'm done.
