something weird that occasionally happens to me, the second i start to fall asleep i hear a loud "hey!" and i feel like ive been shocked, ive never been able to explain it but man is it weird when it happens

I have similar things happen to me from time to time. Except somethings it sounds like someone calling my name. I even look around sometimes because it sounds just like someone talking to me. It usually happens only when I am very tired.

Same here!

Sometimes im playing Xbox and I think I hear my mum calling me, when shes not.
I hear it too .... then I found out my grandfather died an hour before that happened.

I found a thread on bungie.net that was started during 2007

My roomate has the weirdest sounding alarm clock which I was awoken by. It sounded like something that belonged in a Silent Hill ost; sounded like the pressing of two different piano keys. One, two. One, two. One, two. One, two; rinse and repeat. It starts faint but slowly amplifies until it's all you can hear. It's pretty scary to be the first thing you hear when you wake up and it's still dark out.

Then he shuts the alarm off. I go to use the bathroom and as soon as I walk in and close the door behind me, it starts up again. Couldn't he just get up the first time it goes off? That thing freaks me out.

Waking up on some random persons front lawn with no idea how i got there. The vast quantities of whiskey i had been drinking the night before probably had something to do with it!

Ok well I live in Dorset in the UK and when I was about 12 I remember looking out of my window at about 6:30pm when the sun was setting and I saw this strange looking cloud, the cloud was verry high up and was quite large and then I noticed that it had lots of flashing lights originating inside the cloud at first I thought that it looked some sort of Jet fighter war going on inside it or that some government was testing some sort of war weapon as it looked very creepy, then I thought it looked a bit like lighting but there was no thunder and the lightning wasn't hitting the ground, I live in a small-medium sized town so the fact that nobody else saw it made me think that I imagined it.

But In 2011 I believe, there was another one of these strange clouds and it was caught on tape over Montreal and since this is a large City allot of people saw it, the only difference was that the cloud over Montreal doesn't look very puffy compared to the one I saw, and here is the video in case your wondering what I might have seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=jercrGMd TrI&NR=1

Since this topic still gets posted on, though only little by the number, I might as well add on.

So, since I was a young child I've always looked down the stairs that lead up to my room when I reach the top. Due to this, I still do it now almost everytime in which I do come running up the stairs. Most recently, I recall seeing a shadow coming from the main room at the bottom of the stairs... My brother and I were the only ones in the house, and neither of us were downstairs.

When I was younger, I always had the feeling that something would just peek slightly over the corner of my door.

I swear, one night I thought something did peek over.

When I was a kid I always could've sworn there was a person walking down the hallway to my bedroom door, I'd hear footsteps and what not. I remember once seeing my door move after thinking I was hearing those footsteps. Creepy stuff back in the day.

I'm your biggest fan!

Back when I was about eleven, or twelve, I had one of those high-up metal beds. It squeaked every time I moved around on it, and you had to climb a ladder to get up there.

One night I was still awake and facing away from the door towards the wall when I heard something slowly climb up the ladder and felt something pressure the mattress down right next to my foot.

I was so scared I didn't move and pretended to be asleep. It stayed for about three minutes, then I heard it climb back down the ladder. In the spur of the moment, I turned over real quick to see what it was, but I didn't see anything. It's possible I left it too late.

The creepiest thing I seen was when I went to California last year ( I was 14) when a ugly 40ish hooker flashed me while I was on a tour bus.

Easter Egg Hunter. Apprentice Tricker/Glitcher (learning from Grumpy and Sliding Ghost).

Trying to get Waypoint to update Halo 3 stats in detail like here. Now no one can see that my Halo 3 Spartan no longer looks like my Reach Spartan.

Really want to be a Heroic member or have a title. :/

I was on a field trip to see the Lion King in New York City. Before the play, we were allowed to walk around with a chaperone to tour the city and shop. We were on our way to the Toys 'R' Us with the Farris Wheel inside. On the way, this old guy with teeth missing and his shirt opened came out of a stand that sold tools. He held an orange knife with a 1 inch blade. He yelled to me:

" Hey! Wou wan diss? Come over here; give me five dollar and I give you this".

I walked a little faster around the city that day.

I went to sleep with all my clothes on and woke up in the morning completely naked. I also have this recurring dream since I was 10. I'll be scared as -blam!- and my twin bro is there and I tell him hide under bed! They can't find us hear. I had a dream I got bit by a pitbull, and woke up with a terrible pain in my leg. Sometimes I'll hear a woman calling my name, but it's nothing there.

My mom called for me to come downstairs so I got up from my desk and started to walk down the steps then all of a sudden my mom calls for me from her room that was next to mine and says don't go down there I heard it too!

I ran into my mom's room and locked the door and we stayed in there until my dad got home.
Now that is just -blam creepy.

Fake. I saw this photo on Facebook ages ago.

Two movies you should watch: Fight Club and Pineapple Express

"Wait. What do you mean, it's dead?"
"If marijuana is not legal within the next five years I have no faith left in humanity, period. Everyone likes smoking weed. They have for thousands of years. They're not going to stop anytime soon. You know? It makes everything better. Makes food taste better, makes music better. It makes sex feel better for God's sake. It makes -blam!- movies better you know?"

I've been trying not to post in here for obvious reasons to me but here's mine. About 6 years ago I was walking outside at night. I live in the country so it's pretty isolated and peaceful except for that night when I was walking I started to hear drums and Indian chanting. It was a pretty clear night so you could see anything. Thing is I couldn't see anyone in the direction it was coming and the noise started to get louder the closer I got to it. After awhile the noise suddenly stopped. I had chills run up my spine like no other. I'm part Indian myself which made it even creepier. I actually felt like I was being drawn towards the sound.

When I was about 15 years old me and the folks lived in a small neighborhood called Oak Grove. My mom always told me stories of her constantly seeing a little boy. She told me that once when she was in the kitchen making diner she looked in the hallway and seen him standing there and he just waved to her.
Anyways, I was in bed one night and I would always sleep under my blankets because I was afraid of the dark. I actually heard my closet door open and someone walking out of it. It seemed like they were literally standing right next to me because I was hearing this heavy breathing. I never looked to see what it was but it just walked back into my closet and shut the door.
The next day I told my mom about it and she tried looking up the history of our apartment. She found out that the place had actually been caught on fire by some moronic teenage punks and that an older lady and her son were killed in the fire.
Needless to say, we moved a couple months later.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

Lol, it practically scarred me. I'm 25 and I'm still afraid of the dark. I don't sleep under my blankets anymore but I do keep my TV on :P
