Here's my Idea,

I like looking at posts that have Bungie Employee responses to see their insight so I thought about, Having the Bungie Symbol take you to their post, which then in turn led th more ideas. So I was thinking that, You guys should make use of the Thread Icons (in a more interactive way).

Icons and Actions:
New Thread-Open Thread.
Hot Thread-Open Thread.
Locked Thread-Take to last post or Ninjas Post.
Bungie Symbol-Take you to the Employee who posted a reply.
Archived- The could take you too a more recent post along the same lines as that topic.

Hope you guys like these ideas!

I'm not saying they aren't useful or clickable, please read what I wrote. I'm talking about having them have more than just the ability to open the topic.

Bungie Symbol-Some times more than one employee will post in a thread
Archived- This would require a better search feature than the site already has. LOTS of coding

Archived wouldn't require a lot of coding, when you click on the symbol it would enter the topic title into the search and it could give an option of the top ones that fit with the best relevance to the title of the old one, kind of like Wikipedia's relevance thing.

And for Bunige- Take you to the first post of the Employee.

How about how the medals are? It could be like them at least. Hover your mouse over the icon and it explains what it is. That way people can tell a bit easier.

That's a good Idea too, but you would have to compensate for Achronos's lengthy posts. lol.

Ok this could work....given that its not hard to quick link based on automated linkage.

the search feature here is kinda simple (basic). It only works based on words found on the site.
At times people will use a dumb title to say something.

Clicked link:
OMG Haloz is got the new Stuffs
Halo is getting a fix for the stuff in it..the ideas of the game are changing

You want to find:
Halo udates and story line fixes
Halo is getting an update to fix some issues and make some changes to the story line

What the search finds based on the original thread title and context:
OMG i wants the reconz helmets for the haloz
or
Fix ma haloz, the melee is got to be changing

the proper link would have to be entered manually only because the search isnt based on the "meaning" or "true subject" of the topic.
