Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168191037 51

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168202201 44

Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168141027 14

I am planning on using money I get from work, Christmas money, birthday money(in Jan.) and, if I need more, then money from my tax refunds.

What do you guys(and gals) think?

This is to rebuild my PC, not build a new one. I already have HDDs, Vista Ultimate, and XP MCE 2005.

How will it run games like Crysis, UT2k7, and H2V?

Pretty nicely. To run Crysis, your video cars is still minorly lacking. See if you can get the Geforce 8800GT (if its out) or GTS

I'm trying to spend under $200 on the video card, so I think any type of 8800 is out of the question.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Then keep saving. I saved for a year for my current PC, but got impatient and ended up buying parts that can't even run HL2EP2 properly, or Halo 2 Vista. Don't settle for second best, that's my advice.

What's wrong with the 8600GTS?

I've heard great reviews about it and the 8600GT.

I'll get the 3850 then.

ATI drivers are still lacking in my opinion. My Radeon X1300 with Catalyst 7.11 drivers stutters in campaign unlike 7.10. The same thing also happens to my friends Radeon HD2900

I'm trying to spend under $200 on the video card, so I think any type of 8800 is out of the question.

Then you're hoping for too much. It's much smarter to pay $100 more so you don't have to bother with a new video card for the next three or four years, but if you by a mid-ranged card, you're going to have to replace it in a year or two. So either pay $300 now or pay $200 now and then $200 later.

You get what you pay for. Remember that.

That mobo looks a little on the weak side. Like the Node man said, you're better off splurging a bit and getting something that'll keep you satisfied a little longer.
